I need some help from the more veteran members of CC.
After seeing the title to this thread, a couple of the useless cells in my brain started to move around. Does anyone remember a college student, I believe he went by MarineArchitect here on CC, that used to post fantastic designs of cruise ships? A few of us always thought he should be snatched up by either a cruise line or shipbuilder. I am wondering what happened to him. This was around 10-15 years ago.

Return of the Internet Cafe. They removed it from the new Sun & Star.
Real bonehead move. IMHO

Nice photos...thank you for sharing.
That one fork looks deadly. Is it used for seafood? Maybe to open an oyster or clam or pick meat out of crabs?
The tag on the 3rd fork picture said it is a Pickle Fork. Definitely strange looking. Still can't figure out how to use it.

In San Francisco we are docked from 9am to 11pm so I have Go Cars booked for 8 hours for us to see some sights and then an evening behind the scenes tour of Alcatraz.
Alcatraz was a very interesting and informative tour. Glad we did it during one of our S.F. trips.
If you get a chance, try to stop at The Buena Vista Cafe for their famous Irish Coffee. It's located at the corner of Hyde & Beach Street. The food selections was not bad either.
Enjoy your cruise.

When I first looked at this picture, I wondered what kind of church bus that was with three decks!I thought the exact same thing until I got to the 4th picture and scrolled back up to see the optical illusion.

I can't believe the parents would allow their kid to say that. What a shame. Some people are just so pathetic.
Just remember the scariest thing.
These kids are the future of our country.
Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

But I have a cruise. I cannot be sick.
We’re leaving Thursday. Today’s Tuesday. I WILL get better.
I did.
Thank goodness. It would have really sucked if you had to cancel at the very last minute.

Then we got on our bikes and rode all the way down that winding hill to the half way mark. I rode the brakes non stop. Never peddling.
All I could think of while going down that hill back to our hotel was, "Why were there so many suicidal people on those bikes"? I couldn't believe that no one was hurt or killed going down that mountain. They were all over the place. I gave our driver a lot of credit.

I've heard that there is a non smoking section.
Having a non-smoking section in the Casino is the same as having a non-peeing section in the pool. It just doesn't work.
Unless & until one of their Brain Surgeon Engineers figures out a "Down-Draft Suction" ventilation system with below floor duct work, you will never find a non-smoking section. IMHO

I wonder if it’s a sign that I should look for “The Pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow”?
When we were in Hawaii, went to the sunrise at Haleakala one morning. While there we saw a beautiful rainbow. We climb up a couple of rocks and we were able to see the end of the rainbow.
GUESS WHAT ! ! ! ! ! !

There was no Gold.
In fact, there wasn't even a "Pot" to p**s in. LOL
I think we have been lied to all these years.🤔🤣😂

Today we traveled to Canton Ohio, and ended up at the convention center.
We have waited for years to see Jeff Dunham. He was either too far away or we had other commitments.
His show is not for one who is easily bothered by “HUMOR”, which I might say can be very very intense. It would not be on the Popes must see list for good Catholic girls.
Any way. We laughed for hours.
Also if your reservation was in the first class section (Prime) for lack of a better word- - you got a gift bag.We try to get tickets any & every time he is in CT.
Like you, we end up laughing for hours listening to his routine. To this day, I wouldn't be able to tell you which of his characters is my favorite because I love them ALL.
@Vibe 20 years ago is about the same time saw him also. We may have been sailing together back then.🤔

Welcome home and a big "THANK YOU" for the fantastic ride this past week. As others have said, it went by way to fast but it helped us lowly land lubbers pass the time away.🤣

I graduated in '73 & '74. They liked me so much, I was invited to come back for 6 more months so I could make up that 1/2 credit that I was missing. The nice thing is that I can go to twice as many reunions.
