Best Casita Location?
Vacation...Yes replied to BlackForest's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We were recently on Wonder & had the Key and that did not help with VIP reservations…FYI. We asked about reservations as soon as we boarded and we’re told to come back the next day at 0830. We got there 8:15 and all but 1 of the casitas on the non smoking side were open. It worked out well but wish we would have been told that upfront. The smoke smell is bad in the other side and as a sensitive asthmatic, I would not have been able to sit over there. We had #4. It was on the end and away from the action, more quiet. It was very nice and we ended up booking it again later in the week. Our 1st choice initially was #1 or #2. They we’re close to the bar & hot tub. Being close to the bar really isn’t an issue. The bar staff were great and you have a call button if you would like drinks and they aren’t around. -
Preferred deck on Allure of the Seas
Vacation...Yes replied to CajunCpl's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We’ve been on all Oasis class ships and Deck 6 is our favorite for sure…great walk ability to Boardwalk, Promenade, dining room, casino, shows, bars. We only used the elevator to go to pool area. 2nd favorite deck is deck 8. It’s beautiful walking through Central Park in the evening heading back to your room. -
Are there tube or floats for rent at Magens Bay?
Vacation...Yes replied to Sun Lover's topic in St. Thomas/St. John
We were just there on 11/1. I didn’t see anyone with tubes or floats in the water. There were drink ladies walking on the beach but I didn’t see them going into the water for drink orders. Lounge chair rentals were $20 each. It has been a few years since I have been there but I was disappointed at how populated it has become. Rows of beach chairs crammed together and so many people in the water. The drive is beautiful. Have fun. -
Starting my Wonder research
Vacation...Yes replied to BillOh's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We loved Symphony…sailing on Wonder in 12 days. Hope we’re not disappointed in the Solarium as that is one of our favorite relaxing places…but no work, frozen drinks, tropical weather & some time away with my hubby…what isn’t perfect about that❤️ -
Sorry, I didn’t include hotel. Yes, Country Inn & Suites. Thanks for your response.

Are these within walking distance? We are not driving so still weighing hotel options. Thanks.

Sold out shows and The Key
Vacation...Yes replied to fsufancc's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had the Key last year & never used the reserved seating at shows except for aquatheatre. For the ice shows, they had a whole row of reserved seats but we were told they were for suite guests & those with higher status…then, closer to the start of show, just anyone could site there. Frustrating. Where actually does The Key have preferred seating? -
Oasis of the Seas Wow bands

Do the old wow bands from 2018 still work or do we need new ones? -
12:05 departure Orlando??

Does having TSA Pre-check make much difference at security at MCO? -
We are sailing on Wonder 10/29-11/5. I called Air-2-Sea today to get estimate and the rep said I am unable to book a return flight any sooner than 2p as we would be unable to make it on time. The flight I want leaves Orlando at 12:05p…any concerns with this departure time? I’m not interested in the gamble of cutting it “too close” but also not a fan of sitting in airport for many hours. Your insight is much appreciated🙂

Wonder of the Seas Question
Vacation...Yes replied to lv2cruisgrl's topic in Royal Caribbean International
One option is purchasing The Key. It includes drop off service of your carry one luggage and delivery to your stateroom. -
Coast Guard inspection on Anthem??
Vacation...Yes replied to Sun Lover's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Happened to us on on Oasis…no warning, could not board until 2p. Things happen to keep us safe…I get it. -
Coco Cay Beds $199 vs $299
Vacation...Yes replied to monkeyinhat's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had Breezy Bay bed and loved it. We have booked another one for our upcoming cruise. Location is the best, in my opinion. The cabanas were far enough to the right that they didn’t block our view. Close to restrooms, bar, food court & pool. -
Port Canaveral- hotel & things to do?

Port Canaveral Hotel (no shuttle/no parking)
Vacation...Yes replied to handbellplayer's topic in Florida Departures
We’ve never sailed out of Port Canaveral. I’d rather stay in that area with a short ride to the port on embarkment day. Is there a Walgreens or CVS by any of the hotels by the cruise port? Thanks everyone. -
Off the Chain while Price-Checking!

Two weeks ago, we paid $2396 for ocean view balcony, cat. 2D on Wonder. Today, for the same category room, 2 rooms down is $1550 more😬 -
What is the worst balcony on Oasis
Vacation...Yes replied to grod19's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Before the slides when up in the Boardwalk, we liked the Boardwalk balconies that were closet to back of ship. Great for people watching, we could see out to the ocean and could see some of the shows & practices. Since the slides went in, we only book ocean balcony…preferably the hump rooms. -
Casitas on Wonder of the Seas

Do you know which ones are by the smoking area? I would not be able to do that section. Thanks -
Harmony Coast Guard Inspection 11/12/22
Vacation...Yes replied to RJ257's topic in Royal Caribbean International
There was a CG inspection on our Harmony sailing a few years ago and it delayed boarding for several hours. It was after 2p before we were able to board. -
Complimentary Steak Option in the MDR?
Vacation...Yes replied to DrSea's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We went to Chops last week on Symphony and had ribeye. The service and the meal was wonderful. Only complaint was the asparagus was way undercooked -
Herman for sure. Omg, that’s hilarious…didn’t even realize I did that. My husband and I always joke about that on our cruises and call it Munster station as we often watch The Munsters reruns…thanks for the laugh🤣
