  1. In November I'll be cruising the Adriatic on Nieuw Statendam with port stops including Greek islands. Members on my roll call are actively booking private tours which I have joined. Viator seems the most popular. Try here;
  2. It looks French. Are we in France?
  3. You are correct. There are many, many pubs like this one along UK canals which means you don't have to cook meals if you don't want to. Or, you can do your own meals on board as rental boats, like the ones we use, have complete kitchen facilities. Your turn.
  4. 😁😁😁🙄 Here's another shot.
  5. Next pic. Here we were waiting to proceed through a lock near a pub. After going through the lock we moored our narrowboat "Arabella" and went back to the pub for lunch. What canal are we on? Use Google if you wish.
  6. Looks kinda 'outbackish'. Are we back in Broken Hill?
  7. I have done two post cruise, Denali included, tours and each time I have gone to Cabin Nite dinner and show and had a ball. https://www.alaska.org/detail/cabin-nite-dinner-theatre
  8. That's a big, bad monster of a church.😁
  9. Check this one out Lyle. https://www.viator.com/en-AU/tours/Rotorua/Rotorua-including-Te-Puia-Tour-from-Auckland-in-Small-Groups/d395-56760P9 Tony and I, and the couple who went to Alaska with us, did this tour. Can highly recommend it.
  10. Aus Traveller is correct. I've been to Port Chalmers at least four times there has never been any customs check. However, if going ashore you will need to take with you some form of personal ID (other than ship card) with a photo e.g. passport, driver's licence, which will be checked by immigration officers when you return to the ship.
  11. I'm a little confused with the graph as it shows an average ticket revenue but not the average number of days per ticket. e.g. Food = $107. Is that per day or week? Am I missing something?
  12. Thanks. It's easier when you've been there a couple of times.
  13. I wont miss the P & O experience. Can't miss what you've never had.😉
  14. That's it, Krasnoyarsk. One of the stops on our Zarengold trans Siberian train journey. At the Traveller's Coffee we experienced the best toilets ever for Russia and better than most in Oz also. Very clean, modern and sweet smelling. Good coffee too. Quite a few places using English marketing. It was quite an attractive city by Russian standards. Your turn.
  15. Close. Closer than Ekaterinberg.
  16. Do you follow up with Long Service leave, RDO's, Leave Loading and paid Maternity leave?😁
  17. Closest so far. A new hint. Next stop for Tsar's Gold.
