  1. That was a big surprise to me also, the water is so cold.
  2. Travellers to Australia who vape will need to be aware of new laws introduced this month. https://www.tga.gov.au/news/media-releases/new-vaping-laws-commence-1-july-2024
  3. Are people, entering Australia, now required to declare vapes in their possession and carry a prescription? Any changes yet to incoming passenger cards? https://www.tga.gov.au/news/media-releases/new-vaping-laws-commence-1-july-2024
  4. Whittier is correct. The photo was taken in June last year. A windy, wet morning on arrival but cleared by the time we got to Anchorage. No more rain for the next week and our return to Oz. Your turn.
  5. Don't worry about owing me pints or Crownies (which I've never tried), because I'll have forgotten by then.😄
  6. Captain James Cook. Historical site.
  7. Thank you. That photo looked like it came out of my own album.🙂 I think this next pic will be an easy one. Name the railway.
  8. I can see a Canadian flag so are we in Canada,eh?
  9. That one had me puzzled as it, the airstrip, is not how I remembered. When we were there we camped in the pub camping ground which actually had two powered sites and was at the end of a dirt runway right next to the pub. So I had a look at Google earth. It seems a new runway has been built since then. Remains of the old runway can still be made out. Looks like it is now a RFDS base. That's progress.
  10. Correct. We were at the Broome Adventure Cruises base from where we enjoyed a sunset cruise?/flight? by hovercraft across the bay to see dinosaur footprints.. Obviously, there were no ships there that day. Your turn.
  11. That's a bit too general as the bay is very big. Another pic.
  12. Very close. More information required.
  13. I was surprised to get this one correct as I was last there in 1986. I imagined there are lots of pubs where this happens. Here are a couple of pics from our drive that year up the Oodnadatta track to Darwin. Three adults, two kids and our Siamese cat.
  14. 1. The visa covers all your ports. 2. IIRC last time I was indonesia (Jan 2023) I used only one address, that of our tour company for our first port of call tour which was Komodo.
