  1. Pay as you go never cost us more than a drink package. We're D+ and get 5 free drinks per day. Most people do not get their moneys worth out of a package. A lot report they start out strong but by day 4 or 5, they just can't keep up. Plus, port days it's harder.
  2. We just kept putting off going up to get a reservation. We're back onboard Wonder in Nov in a JS for another b2b so we'll make a point to go. We have friends going on the cruise also who are Pinnacle so hoping we can all eat together there.
  3. My understanding is that if she doesn't have suite privileges then they will say no. We did two weeks on Wonder in Jan and never even tried to get into CK. We ate there one time on Oasis a few years ago. We only book JS, regardless of ship size or amenities. We love the space.
  4. The ones that then complain there's not enough for their kid to do. They also decide that the solarium pool is a requirement as their child "has to swim" when the outdoor pool is closed because a child decided it was a bathroom (actually happened like 4 times on that cruise). That was only one of many things that happened, including a family getting kicked off for something their teenager did.
  5. How about 700 on Vision class during spring break? We've had that a couple of times.
  6. Why are you making excuses for Royal? The entire point of this thread is that they removed the menus.
  7. It's an 8 day SE coast and Bahamas. We know the menus inside and out. My point was we shouldn't have to go look for them. We didn't have to prior to recently. If you look at my history, you'll see we've done 8 and 12 nights several times out of Baltimore. That wasn't my issue. it's the fact they for whatever reason took the info out of the app.
  8. We're on Vision in a few weeks. Until a few weeks ago, we could see the menus, but now they're gone. The menu was there for our last few sailings (last was in Jan on Wonder) for pretty much the entire time we were booked (months). We shouldn't have to go search for it on other sailings.
  9. Why tiptoe around lol? It's Carnival that announced yesterday the change to scooter policy.
  10. There are plenty of people who report booking them even though they don't really need them. As for the poster you quoted, out of Baltimore, the ship is a small one (Vision currently) and it has much fewer accessible cabins. We always book a JS and have to book early to get one on that class.
  11. LOL. I wasn't paying attention, but they do play it at CC.
  12. DH and I get 6 as D+, so 3 each. It's been 6 every time since they started doing water only. We also get 3 bottles of wine (Pinot Grigio) as we're over 525. DH doesn't drink it but there's really no amenity that he wants otherwise.
  13. Have you heard "Perfect Day" played yet?
  14. My parents lived in Oregon for a few years and used to talk about how they rarely used an umbrella because it mostly drizzled. It rarely rains like it does here on the east coast. Plus, my post was kind of tongue in cheek to your post. You know, as in you would never lower yourself to use an umbrella.
  15. That's because it doesn't really rain there, it drizzles.
  16. Celebrity does. Royal doesn't. Pack a small travel one or cheap ponchos.
  17. We were on Wonder in Jan for a b2b and two stops at CC. WJ is open. No specialty restaurants are until dinner time. MDR only for breakfast (short time) and dinner. El Loco Fresh from what I remember didn't open until about 3 pm. Some bars are open but can't remember which ones.
  18. Emergency response in a lot of these islands isn't very quick even when there is no strike. This is another frivolous lawsuit. They obviously didn't research the port at all. Strikes of all kinds are very common there.
  19. Do you realize how many criminals they haven't imprisoned that are already running free? We've been going to Labadee since about 2010 and have never felt unsafe. Hassled by vendors, yes, unsafe, no. Haiti has been an almost lawless country for years. Every time the US says not to travelto Haiti someone starts a "sky is falling" thread. Labadee is heavily guarded.
  20. If you feel unsafe, don't go. It's that simple. Do you know how the roads are there? lol. It's not a paved highway by a long shot.
  21. I don't think some understand exactly where Labadee is in relation to the really populated areas and how far it i from Port Au Prince. It's 130 miles.
  22. Mine never changed. I never tested except to cruise and only got the first three shots. I know a lot of people who did the same. Not sure what your point is anyway.
  23. Cruise lines don't require testing. People have already been following similar protocols on their own. The cruise line only knows if you go to medical and tell them. I don't know if they even have tests in medical anymore. It's no different than the flu and these new protocols have been talked about for a while. Last time I was sick I didn't test for anything. Most ER's and Dr's don't bother testing. They've been telling people if you're sick, stay home.
