  1. On our August 30th, cruise on Vista not all shore excursions were listed 365 days out. I had to call in to get the missing one
  2. Thanks for posting. Did the TA on Sirena in 2019. Really enjoyed the ship.
  3. We did a private tour of Peninsula Valdez back in 2019. It was great, but not something to do again. Also don’t want to the long drive to the penguin colony. I'm hoping to hire a taxi for a half day if they are available
  4. Looking for something different, as we have done the wildlife. Possibly the welsh village. Looking for something DIY.
  5. It was the shore excursion desk after our port of Split was cancelled. Not sure if it is true or not. We did replace the missing tour anyway.
  6. It can become more than confusing, even after you have booked. On our recent 24 day cruise, we had 7 included tours and needed 3 more for YWYW. I booked an additional 4 and my wife 3. The confusion started before we left, when of our tours was cancelled by O. This brought me to 10 and my wife to 9, thereby losing YWYW for her. After 2 hours on the phone we replaced the included tour, bringing us back to 11 and 10 respectively. Once on board my wife had a tour cancelled, not an included one. Again losing YWYW so she booked a replacement. Meanwhile my invoices continued to make no sense, as tours were refunded and new ones charged. Than a port was cancelled, again reducing our numbers, so new invoices and new confusing numbers. Later, after booking a replacement tour we were told if O cancels a tour we should not lose YWYW. However invoices kept changing with new charges and new credits. Bottom line, I’m not sure I would take the extra tours to make YWYW. As an aside, most of the tours were good, but not all. Biggest complaint was that there were no mask requirements on the busses. Lots of people coughing Most busses were near full, but we did have one tour bus with only 11 people.
  7. Just off Marina. The laundry room was so convient on deck 11, that we never used our free laundry bags. The machines we readily available
  8. If you book enough to YWYW, and they cancel a tour or a port, it does create a bit of a problem if there is nothing left you want. Don. If you want a bottle of Oceania red, leave me a message at 11006. I know I am not going to drink it.
  9. Speaking of bathrobes. How do people feel about others wearing their bathrobes in the executive lounge or the laundry room?
  10. On Marina now. Almost Impossible to send an email with with multiple photos attached
  11. None on the Insignia this past July. Was annoying caring it back to cabin without a top.
  12. Have they come up with a replacement solution for no plastic tops for the take away coffee cups.?
  13. Do the later flight. Take a tour before boarding.
  14. What cabin number is that?
  15. Saw a post on another travel site. Not sure I could mention it so I cut out part of their story. Tried to find a link on Oceania. Has anyone seen a full list. Here is a partial example. A three-night "India's Crown Jewel" tour that visits Delhi as well as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah in Agra, India. It's available for free as a pre- or post-cruise add-on to an 18-night voyage from Cape Town, South Africa, to Mumbai, India, starting on Jan. 18, 2023, and a 14-night voyage from Mumbai to Bangkok, Thailand, starting on Feb. 5, 2023. The sailings are on Oceania's 684-passenger Nautica. A three-night tour to the temple complexes of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom in Cambodia. It's available as a free pre- or post-cruise add-on to a 14-night voyage from Mumbai to Bangkok starting on Feb. 5, 2023, and on a 10-night voyage from Bangkok to Singapore starting on Feb. 19, 2023. The sailings are also on Nautica. A three-night "Glimpse of Arabia" tour that visits multiple sites in the United Arab Emirates including the waterfront Museum of Islamic Civilization in Sharjah, the Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi. It's available as a free post-cruise add-on to a 21-night voyage from Cape Town to Dubai scheduled for April 5, 2023. The sailing is on Oceania's 684-passenger Insignia.
  16. No real complaints , there has to be a cut off somewhere. It is just interesting that after 24, the additional credits come much quicker..
  17. Have a 24 day coming up. Feel like we are being cheated. Do you think the home office, when planning, caps a cruise at 24 days. :
  18. Joe, thank you for your posts. my better half had a question about fresh fruit available in the mornings , specifically blue berries . any chance you remember what was offered
  19. Looking at the Marina for all its cruises in October and November of this year. For all the segments, except the final trans Atlantic all categories are waitlisted. Does Oceania still hold cabins in reserve for Covid or other reasons. Just surprised that the ships are full after hearing people post that their current cruise was less than full.
  20. Never use one of your reservations for a specialty restaurant on the first night. There is always availability when you get on board.
  21. There are many times O Life shore excursions are a good deal. For example, Florence or Rome on your own. If you don’t want to deal with taxis, buses or trains on your own. I agree that where the ship docks close to town they are not. if you are only two people they can be good value. You need to be selective
  22. On another thread, I have read about the difficulty of getting in and out of the new cruise port. Anyone have recent experience this summer. Also, how long a walk from the ship to the tram. Is there a taxi right by the ship. Or is it on the outside of the port?
