  1. Seascape and Seashore are mostly similar. Seaside/Seaview are a bit smaller than Seashore/Seascape. Certain venues such as restaurants have different locations on the smaller ships. The elevator systems are a bit different. The cabanas vs. pergolas is another difference. The larger ships have a couple of different stateroom types in the larger Yacht Club. Long story short, Seashore/Seascape are an EVOlved version of Seaside/Seaview. More alike than different.
  2. I've never been harassed, insulted, etc. by other passengers while using the priority that I'm entitled to use. If it does happen, those complaining passengers will still complain when they "mistakenly" get on the priority line and are later sent away to go to the standard line. Yes, MSC can do better but those problematic passengers will still be a problem when they see others getting more/something better than what the complainers are getting.
  3. I wonder if the new Miami Terminal will have the separate lines and areas for those with priority. I don't really care about others being annoyed. I just want better organization....I know, I know. MSC... organization... don't always go together.
  4. The person sharing takes the risk of having their package revoked without refund, being charged for every drink ordered with the package, and in extreme cases, getting kicked off of the ship at the next port.
  5. Pullman above the sofa bed. Main bed near the balcony.
  6. The cards are still needed to leave the ship. Even Ocean Cay requires a card in order to leave the ship.
  7. Sometimes, certain non-YC people are given YC access. It's kind of a "...not what you know but who you know..." thing. Friends/family members of MSC employees, etc.
  8. The official answer is that they are not to be opened. There are some guests who ask and the steward opens them but opening them is a safety violation.
  9. If the specialty restaurant is open, you can use your SDP. If you want lunch at a specialty restaurant and dinner in a specialty restaurant on the same day, you can use your SDP for both but it will count as 2 uses. SDP for lunch and MDR for dinner is no problem.
  10. Ask your room steward for more of what you need.
  11. "An SDP meal in a la carte restaurants includes 1 appetizer, 1 soup or salad, 1 main course and 1 dessert (does not apply to cover charge restaurants or Food Republic, Pincho Tapas Bar and Sushi, where a meal includes any 4 menu items)."
  12. It doesn't state that for the Starbucks package. I guess it's treated like the soda package where only 1 person can buy. The PBP/PPBP clearly shows that if 1 buys, all other eligible adults must also have or buy. Does NCL hope that people won't share Starbucks? It's just soda but some bartenders have been known to give virgin drinks to kids for free if the parent is getting a "real" drink....tip accordingly. 😉

  14. It might help to look at the menu and decide if "buying a package" or "paying a la carte" is better financially. Add 20% to the package prices and add 20% to the a la carte prices. https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Fleet_Cagney_Dinner_Mobile-Menu_010323.pdf Do you plan on doing Cagney's more than once?
  15. Ok, now it makes sense and I agree. Your list would be nice after 25,000 points or so. Maybe there could be some sort of Captain level or Admiral level above the current 10k level. That way, even people who matched would have a goal to strive for assuming that the benefits would be worth it.
  16. Your stateroom 10190 sleeps 4. It has a pull man bed that drops from the ceiling. It will be above the sofa and the normal bed will be near the balcony.
  17. 2,600 points isn't very much. Maybe 26,000 points would be enough to get what you are requesting.
  18. Will definitely be trying that on the next cruise. I'm one of those people who orders extra tails (hold the asparagus) at dinner. I've had the same experience on all of my YC cruises. It doesn't make sense but I'll take it. The Smiling Fish on Ocean Cay also doesn't charge YC guests. 😉 Hehehe. I know some people will grumble because "...it's not cold wata Maine lobsta..." but I don't care. ^^ THIS All day, every day. The inconsistency is troubling to some but in our cases, we appreciate the "extras" that we get. These things aren't much but they go a long way to help the guest enjoy their cruise.
  19. The 1/1/1/1 restriction is probably going to be one of those things that starts inconsistently on one ship then spreads (like a virus) to the rest of the fleet.
  20. The H2 is "The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony" NCL has renamed the H3 to "The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Balcony" so technically, they're both a DOS. 🤪 For either the H2 or H3, deck 17 has a larger balcony than the equivalent on deck 18. The H2 has an additional side balcony but those are the same size whether deck 17 or deck 18. Many people have mentioned the wind while the ship was moving so I wouldn't expect breakfast on a sea day to be enjoyable. Variables such as weather, ship direction, ship speed, etc. play a part.
  21. Aren't the events for those 55 and older while the entertainers are 80 and older? 😁
  22. Could someone have put on some of those rubber things to reduce the "clang" sound? The rubber on rubber would make more of a "thud" sound instead of the irritating metal on metal sound.
  23. Which deck? 17 or 18? The balconies are deeper on deck 17.
