  1. Of the countless "Epic bathroom" threads, this might be the first one to mention lighting as a potential problem. ๐Ÿ˜
  2. Premium Beverage Package Premium PLUS Beverage Package ^links above for PDF No. The standards such as Pina Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Miami Vice, Mango Meltdown, BBC, etc. can all be had with the standard promo beverage package.
  3. I agree. That's why I asked the OP the questions that I did. I don't really understand why someone would want to forfeit butler service. I understand that some don't really use the butler but other than financial reasons, what would be the benefit of forfeiting the service? If butler service was optional and there was a cost difference, people would complain with the usual "nickel and dime" complaints. On some of the older ships, some non-haven suites lost butler service a couple of years ago. With the pandemic, there wasn't much fuss made over it. Yes, it would be a nightmare. I don't believe that the OP was suggesting an "a la carte services" system. I believe that the OP was bringing up the point that some people are either uncomfortable with or opposed to having a butler. The thread went a bit off of the rails once tipping was brought in (no surprise there) but my take is that the OP was questioning if the idea of having a butler somehow deters people from bidding on or booking a Haven suite. It's an interesting idea. I wonder if the thought of a butler puts some people off so much that they don't "...go Haven".
  4. Would the forfeiture of service mean a discount in price? Do you mean that butler service could be an option to select like FAS options? Yes.
  5. ...nor cartons. ๐Ÿ˜› "Free at Sea choice(s) must be selected at least 24 hours prior to sailing and cannot be changed on board" I wouldn't cut it that close but you can change your selection(s). You would be charged or refunded any applicable service charge depending on the change.
  6. You can book your future cruise now and call to have the discount applied. As long as your membership is current, the discount can be applied even though the booking system thinks that the VC membership will expire before you sail on that new booking.
  7. Epic and anything newer is a good start. From there, look at what the ships have to offer.
  8. Seaside also has these.... ....outside of the Yacht Club.
  9. But some pewter/wood ship models from the gift shop and then sell them on eBay. Check out how many people are willing to pay 3x the retail price for one.
  10. If the deck plan is correct, 8738 has the bed near the balcony.
  11. Why would people sailing on a Celebrity ship complain about how much space MSC gives to the Yacht Club?๐Ÿคช
  12. Labeled by whom? We appreciate the info, humor, and photos.
  13. Strangely, we didn't get charged there. It might be one of those things where beeping a Yacht Club bracelet nullifies the cost.๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. The OP has a HI. It used to include Spa access and Haven access when it was a H9. Now, it just includes Haven access. Unfortunately, neither I nor anyone that I know of has made a full list of which staterooms have the pole and which do not for this ship. I'll keep looking but if the info isn't out there, please report back after your cruise.
  15. For this category, a "sleeps 3" can be either but since it is surrounded by 2 "sleeps 4" staterooms, I'm confident that 13258 is bed near closet.
  16. I though of you as I typed.....that's why I put "probably". ๐Ÿ™
  17. It's not in the promo terms but it is still there in the SDP terms and FAQ.. "Specialty Dining Packages are sold individually and cannot be transferred. If you wish to pay for someone elseโ€™s dinner, you will not be able to use your own SDP." "SDPs are personal (per person, e.g., 2 guests cannot share 1 SDP meal) and non-transferable (guests cannot give their SDP meals to someone else)." ..but NCL having inconsistencies in their terms is nothing new. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  18. Yes, they can book the 2 drinkers in one stateroom and the other 2 people in another stateroom. Once onboard, they can get spare stateroom cards/keys so the people can sleep in the correct places. Officially, the 2 drinkers will be in the same stateroom so muster location will be based on where they are booked, not necessarily where one sleeps. Do not let anyone share drinks with the non-drinkers. Even though they might get away with it, they might get caught. If caught, the package can be voided and ALL drinks (whether rightfully ordered or not) can be charged to the onboard account of the one who got caught sharing.
  19. There is another thread where someone was on Virtuosa (Meraviglia Plus class) and was switched to Bellissima (Meraviglia class) but they were also bumped up from Aurea to Yacht Club. The OP of this thread might not get an experience bump up but they won't get bumped down....probably (it's MSC so anything is possible). Since the OP has so much invested so far, I don't really see a reason to panic. Since the two ships are so similar, I don't really see a reason to cancel.
  20. I'm guessing that the OP is going from a Meraviglia Plus class ship to a Meraviglia class ship.
  21. If your new stateroom is a Spa ***, you get Spa access. If your current stateroom is a Spa *** and you win something that isn't a Spa ***, you do not keep Spa access.
