Tom, although I didnt have #314, we did have an obstructed ocean view on the Caribbean Princess. I remember it had the same view with the lifeboat. There was a view over the lifeboat where one could see the scenery . I am sorry that no one has actually answered regarding #314 and as some have posted there are cabins that are down right awful due to obstruction but others that are worth booking. Hopefully someone who stayed in #314 will post.

I have used Renmars website many times to book an obstructed ocean view cabin. My suggestion is to go to the website titled "cabins by Renmar" and search the ships and cabins. It is a very useful site and he does a great job. What you see is exactly what you will see if you book that particular cabin. Good searching.

I hope all of you dont find me annoying:D I just want to say that when I sign in to Princess the cruise that I am looking for does not have the Red, White and blue sale on it. The price is $100 cheaper than the sale price. However, if I dont sign in the Red, White and blue sale is on the cruise info with the higher price!!

I chatted on line yesterday and the rep. told me that it is under the Red, White and blue sale. Wonder why its not listed when I sign in?? She couldnt answer that question!!

When booking directly to Princess how many use their website or do you call them directly?? How many of you transfer the booking to your agents?? Does Princess give you OBCs?? I have never booked directly with Princess so I was just wondering what others do.

It's the non-refundable deposit that is a concern. Yes, one can "usually" re-fare with no issue but a non-refundable deposit is always a concern.

Correct about the deposit issue!!! However, today the price went down another $100. So very tempting!!! Question if I do book and see a sale that is better, how do I get the better deal?(hope I dont sound difficult) just never did rebook,

Find the available cabin numbers (or your cabin) on the left, and this web site has the view from the window. I never book an Princess obstructed view without checking this web site first

I totally agree!! The gentleman that took the time and effort to do this website should be applauded!! We always check the obstructed views and have booked several cabins after viewing them on the website. Thanks to Renmar for all his hard work.

I think I am becoming addicted to the Princess website!! I keep checking prices for the Oct 7th 14day on the Caribbean Princess. If you go to book an inside cabin they show obstructed ocean views!!Today I noticed the cabins went down $100. Oh so very tempted to book, however its the Red,White and Blue sale, no refund on deposit. I checked all the prices and found there are 77 cabins available. SO DH and I decided to wait a little longer and maybe a "better price and sale" will come along. I guess I will be checking and hoping a bargain will appear. As you probably can see we really are not particular where the cabin is located.

I realize the choice of cabins would not be great however, did anyone wait until the final payment for a cruise was over and then book?? Just wondering!

If I were booking I would try to get in the middle of the deck!! We were on the Royal in November, had a balcony on deck 8 in the back of the ship. I never walked so much in my life. Study the deck plans, locate the elevators and happy sailing.

I know that there is a thread for the Sip n Sale but does anyone know if there will be a 3 for Free sale?? I guess I am just wishful thinking. Keep looking for that 14 day Caribbean on the Caribbean Princess for Oct.

Would the TA know at this time what cruises are $1 deposit?? Is it just going to be a one day thing? If anyone booked when it was $1 deposit were all cruises included?

I think the only thing that comes down is the rain:) I priced a Holland America cruise and was really blown away. The 11 day cruise was more than a 14 day on Princess. Everyone has to be a good consumer and shop for the best price. Of course, if you see something you like book and then keep looking for the price to go down. Some time you may be lucky!:D

So dogs are allowed on the ship? :confused: And how is it being "toileted?" :confused: And it is allowed in the WJ? :eek: What???

On several cruises we have seen "service dogs" that help their owners in different medical ways. I think there is a place where they can "toilet". They are permitted everywhere their owner goes, for those that need them they are a very important part of their lives.

Put simply, in the past the RW&B Sale has been a game changer. Lowest prices of the year and great perks. This year, not so much. Hence, the OP is "blue" over the fact that the RW&B sale ain't what it used to be.

I received an email this morning about the Red, White and Blue sale. I checked the cruise we were interested in and found that the cabin selection went down $190pp, however no OBC or free gratuities:( Not much of a sale, going to wait for another!! Anyone booking this sale??

We are Diamond on Royal and have enjoyed all of our cruises. I was wondering how many of you that are loyal to Royal actually book with another cruise line. Do you choose the other because of the ports or price that is offered or do you just cruise with Royal because of the status that you have with them?? Just wondering:)

I would like to see more "real" 14 cruises instead of them going back to Ft. Lauderdale and then proceeding to other ports. Also agree with the door on showers, all those mega ships and stil the "curtain"!!

Does anyone know what ship is now heading to the Panama Canal and the route it is taking? I think it left Port Canavaral on 4/23.
