  1. Just swipe down on your home screen and the relevant buttons will show. I'm a Samsung cruiser too.
  2. For your double adapter get a horizontal one (side by side) not vertical, some ships have the outlets close to the bench and you run out of room for the bottom plug with a vertical adapter.
  3. I see the kids can get rissoles and chips, and it's a pretty tasty version of a rissole believe me.
  4. Totally agree, we have had many free dinners at the upgrade restaurants and quite frankly some of them have been a big disappointment. There is no way I would pay the fee for them.
  5. Which I also do, and it helps to cope with the annoyance of being allergic to alcohol based sanitisers in that it forces me to carry an alternative spray in a small pouch on my belt. It's not the alcohol that is the problem, thank dog, I also have trouble with wash up liquid, liquid soaps from dispensers, and many brands of soap. For those with a similar problem sanitisers based on Benzaconium Chloride are just as effective as the alcohol based ones.
  6. Well apart from the Orcas and the Bears, and the scenery, I've just found another good reason to Visit Vancouver Island. Just need a good Lotto win.
  7. From being in Artillery in the Army and countless ramset shots etc in the building game I have the same problem. Your doubt comes from lack of experience with the program.
  8. Also the add on TV advertising some pain Killer where the barrier melts in front of the woman, has a warning that it is just a demonstration.
  9. One of the advantages of wearing a good set of hearing aids is that my brand made a program that can be used when people are wearing masks. It accentuates the higher frequencies which are weakened coming through a mask.
  10. I wonder how many fly in passengers have had to do a RAT.
  11. We got talking to a local while having a couple of ales at the pub, and apparently back in the whaling days Russell had a pretty rough reputation, along the lines of The Hell Hole of the Pacific.
  12. The corkage charge is usually paid immediately after the carry on bags are scanned just before you board. You are lucky that the head waiter for your dining area didn't check for a sticker on the bottles, they are usually fairly vigilant in a surreptitious way so as not to offend.
  13. That's strange, we've had our boarding for a few days now for the 26thSept from Sydney and it is for group A 12.00 to 12.30.
  14. Don't mention cookies when with South African mixed company, it's the nickname for a certain part of a female. Great laughter could be heard when the Muppets were on with the Cookie Monster.
  15. Many are the recipes calling for Chuck Steak whereas the better meat for a long slow casserole is Gravy beef also called Shin Beef. The ideal low and slow roast is a Bolar Blade roast, I did one on Saturday, a 3Kg Bolar rubbed with salt and freshly ground black pepper, cooked at 110C until the centre temperature is 60C then tightly wrapped in a double layer of alfoil and cooked until 90C internal. Rest for 15 minutes before unwrapping. The 90C point is just past the point where the collagen in the meat melts and the meat becomes melt in your mouth. Total cooking time was 9 hours.
  16. The Aussie spelling is Biscuit. The "o" in the edible 'scone', is the same as the "o" in 'on', but the "o" in Scone the town, is the same as the "o" in 'bone'. And people wonder why the English language is so difficult.
  17. I've spent a considerable amount of time at sea in small boats without any residual effects, but always rock for about 10 days after a cruise.
  18. Well the tracking would pretty soon tell them if you fell overboard, which is a lot better than trying to figure it out.
