If you are leaving in 2 days the odds of you getting a reservation now is slim to none especially for the first night. It is worth the money and we always tip extra because the service is usually that good. Have a great cruise.

No, it was a while back. I'm sure if you ask some of the members that cruise monthly, they can confirm. I do know that it was on a thread that they were discussing the steakhouse and i asked the question in the thread and his sidekick Jacinta responded that it was discontniued.

Nope. They no longer offer it on the first elegant night. This was brought up on John Heald's FB page and he confirmed. Unless they brought it back within the last few weeks.

The free bottle of wine (house) is only available on embarkation night.

You cannot bring anything on board in bottles. Only cans or carboard cartons. You can search the carnival FAQ. there is a wealth of information on there.

Cucina's is a free restaurant on the Celebration so you book on board as another poster said. Emeril's (upcharge) is a walk up that you order, they give you a number, you sit and they bring you your food. Well worth the $$.

How awesome! If she didn't need to pack for the cruise I wouldn't tell her until you got to San Fran! I would give her a "special" card on Valentines day maybe with a picture of the booking. BTW, we did this exact same cruise in May, 2022 and LOVED it. We just stayed in San Francisco after the trip. Enjoy!!

They are not forcing you to buy water. They still have water available at the beverage stations. This is if you want to pre purchase water to have in your cabin. As far as the increase to 9.95 for a 12 pack..I'm sure many of these complainers have bought a bottle of water in the airport for $3-$5 without blinking an eye. But paying 82 cents per bottle for the convenience of having it in your cabin is a big deal....geeeesh.

I was on the Celebration during NYE when it's probably most crowded and did not experience anything like that. It appeared to be staffed well and the service was great in all the venues with the exception of Cucina where the service was awful (food was good). The only negative was the design of Celebration central where the shows were performed. We loved the ship so much we are going again in March. (and my DH always hated the big ships)

This is true. If you have late dining, you cannot request a table before 8 PM in Cucina and Chibang. So this gives the YTD first dibs.

On the NYE cruise on the Celebration and we were offered a free bottle of house red or white. You have no "choice" but to take whatever they are offering. We chose a bottle of white off the menu and got it for half price.

I have received many offers, free suite, free balcony etc. with drinks everywhere and I have a cruise booked for March. But we do spend a lot of time in the casino. So my cruises technically are not "free".

We did the one for breakfast-Huevos Rancheros, Frittatas and 12 hour french toast (in only 1 hour lol) It was fun!! WE are doing the tailgate on on our next cruise in March.

Don't avoid the Color my World show. It was very good. Very talented performers and the choreography was awesome!
