  1. They usually offer a tour for those flying later A few days before disembarkation you receive a form where you list the flight times for your luggage tags on the back they have tours listed
  2. Thanks for the comments We do not have an issue with the W/C but I know a lot of people do Try one of the larger ships in the fleet still no covered promenade deck Enjoy
  3. They would not put you in an inside if you booked a PH They will make move up or over offers to those in the cabin categories they need to clear the GTY bookings
  4. Moot point She is not on NCL & hopefully in 10yrs she will get a new passport before it is close to expiring or at least check if one is needed to cover the trip
  5. see #6 of the T & C's for full details https://www.msccruisesusa.com/-/media/us/documents/Booking-Terms-and-Conditions-221115-FINAL.pdf 6. PASSPORT, VISAS AND MINORS Passengers must hold fully valid passports for the whole duration of the Cruise Package with a passport expiration date at least 6 months after the return date. Certain countries, including the USA and Russia, require machine-readable and digital photo passports.
  6. That may be the issue? But who did you ask if there was an instructor onboard ? Things could change by March as they usually have one on the crossings JMO
  7. The announcement I saw said 1210 but did not say what cabins they were changing to Solo https://www.oceaniacruises.com/media/2022/OCEANIA+CRUISES+ANNOUNCES+TWO+MORE+BETTER-THAN-NEW+SHIPS+Riviera+and+Marina+to+Undergo+Stem-to-Stern+Re-Inspiration+in+2022+and+2023+Rebuild+Will+Yield+1%2c210+New+Suites+and+Staterooms+and+Transformed+Public+Spaces/
  8. Port side should not be as bad as the cabins under Waves They do start rolling carts in early in the mornings Under the computer & card room would also be good if you do not mind being forward
  9. I would ask on the HAL forum https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/103-holland-america-line/
  10. Another thought is maybe they are no longer counting the triple & quads for Occupancy so could reduce the number of pax count Just speculation on my part
  11. Guess we will hear more on Dec 4th Maybe not selling inside cabins for the public & keeping them for visiting staff like entertainers ?? That is like 20 cabins
  12. According the USA Gov site Grenada requires 6mths https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Grenada.html It is a moot point as Oceania requires passports even for closed loop cruises Details are in the fine print JMO
  13. It looks like the Beyond at least for Nov 20th is at #25 so maybe the next cruise will be there or not? The only thing I saw about #29 was shuttle to /from the parking garage & the port building https://www.porteverglades.net/cruise/cruise-terminals/terminal-29/
  14. If you are taking excursions that are not OS, WT, CD etc you should change the perk to the Excursion perk with O life then top up to get to the minimum required for the YWC discount The O Life tours count towards the minimum They do make it confusing
  15. You cannot double dip If you get PPG then O will give your $250 sbc in Lieu of the Oceania club benefit If your TA gives you a sbc in the amount of gratuities then the O club PPG kick in It is all how you get the Gratuities It should be on your invoice either way
  16. Do you have SBC from your TA or another source?? Did you choose O Life Excursions as your perk? I am confused
  17. Please bring the unscented ones some people are sensitive to the smell of those sheets
  18. You can do the same with Martinis & the Casino bar We have not had a bottle but the waiter will transport your drinks to the GDR with you
  19. seems to be a lot of push back from people on the mask issue we were out today & hardly anyone was masked In Shoppers people waiting for their flu or covid shot were told to wear a mask ..maybe 4 out of the 10 waiting did We wear ours in the shops ..& the parking lot today keeps your nose warm 😉
  20. Pre covid in the HAL terminal they had a NEXUS line but it was sort of hidden to the side so many did not see it
  21. People have mentioned before about not getting the discount for La Reserve if you do O life & upgrade onboard not sure on the wine events/bottles Hopefully someone will have the answer for you soon
  22. I think Oceania has the dining down just fine timing is everything 😉 Pre covid they encouraged people to share when 2 tops were not available rarely did we get a 4 top for ourselves They will seat you at one for 10-15 minutes & if not one turns up to share then they clear the other settings Other lines will seat you with others one one line they sat us for breakfast at a large table where people were at various stages of their meal so some were just finishing some had part of their meal others like us just arrived .. it was not enjoyable Another Luxury line ..were going to seat us at a table where people had finished their 1 st course So they had to wait for us to have our 1st course before they brought out the next course JMO
  23. I think if it is something that you want to do book it down Keep checking for sales or prices drops just in case If you wait then the airfares may be higher by then
