We took a taxi with some pax from the ship into Bruges & the driver picked us up at a specific time for the return to the ship Le Havre there was shuttle into town & we wandered around had lunch they have some shops & the war Memorial as well as some other things if you are interested St Malo you can walk to the walled city from the tender port drop off area We had arranged a trip to MSM & Dinan it was a great trip again with a group from the ship we had 2 vans of 8 each

If you do not like the Champagne by the glass offering they do have bottles for sale or pick one up ashore if you can

Is that Champagne ??

I guess not many people are taking Carnival short 4-5 days cruises that embark there 🙄 It has been a port stop when we have docked there so no need for parking /driving info Enjoy the cruise

Are there places you are interested in seeing like Bruges or other areas in the Netherlands ? A train from Amsterdam to Bruges or Brussels then rent a car to see some place in Belgium train to France Rometorio.com is a good source of different ways to travel to your destination happy travels

Of course you can leave the chef will unlock the door for you you are not held captive until you eat what you cooked 🙄 When we have done the classes you prepare a dish then they may give a demo of another dish Then you prepare another dish or 2 depending on the time

If you have the Prestige package you can order any drink (some exceptions) If you have the House select (SM) it is WITH lunch & dinner

I think it depends on the port time if they offer the early ones or not We do not dock until 11 am one port & there is an early class that day Enjoy

I do not think they care if you eat it or not Some classes people will taste what they make & some will eat the whole dish (they are not big) Some will just leave it We made baby lamb chops DH does not eat lamb but I do & they were good 🙂

They are hands on & you get to eat what you make Most do not make specialty res on the evening you have a cooking class 🙂 Check the time slot as sometimes they will have an early morning session on some classes as well as the afternoon one

They usually have tables for 8 on the other ships I am guessing VISTA will be the same When you book your res just click the link to add guests & add all their booking numbers it may be easier to book your slot then call O & add your friends I have never tried to add more that 1 other cabin Just a thought

You do not have to tip them but they can misplace your bags if they are that type of person we usually tip so have not had an issue

How long do you normally wait for a table other than being in the line ? We have never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table could you not wait until seated??

Some lines will give you the deal if you are already booked Best to ask your TA or call direct All they can do is say no JMO

In the past I have cancelled the res then just rebooked the new time but I guess maybe you have to call if that does not work

they serve all sorts there so should still be Lunch always room service & Oceania has a good selection
