  1. There were some roving punks on the Venezia Transatlantic who were turned into security more than once. I wrote all over my review that Carnival needed to get a handle on this yesterday, but apparently not. We'll see what happens on my next Carnival cruise.
  2. None of it guaranteed to do anything except lighten your wallet.
  3. Not necessarily true. It depends on the source of CDB and purity.
  4. I add sherry to turtle soup and add port to me.
  5. If there are no alternative treatments that don't violate rules or laws, and if the person cannot tolerate being without for a week +/-, then perhaps they should be investigating alternative vacations where they won't risk their freedom. Bringing up alcohol or anything else is pure deflection and irrelevant. Obviously if any exceptions are made, many frauds will claim they also are exempt, and Carnival is likely constrained by law as to their ability to question. There is a prescription form of CBD oil - Epidiolex - which has been tested and FDA approved, so is legal under Federal law. Insurance might even cover it.
  6. Wow. I hope that isn't the case on my next cruise.
  7. I've certainly had a port or two after dinner.
  8. With well over a million Platinum cruisers, I doubt anyone would notice. The only constant is change.
  9. I think it is $1.99/minute to use the phone in the cabin.
  10. People cheat at Cheers; People crash parties. Carnival knows it. It's all good. Attending the party is one way for the Cheers people to go over their limit. Make them earn it.
  11. It's a thing. What are the different names for mangonada? Mangonada is a frozen mango treat with an infusion of bold flavors – it's sweet, tangy, spicy, & delicious!! It's Mexico's favorite treat and you'll love it too! It goes by many names such as Chamoyada, Mangoneada, Chamango, but they're all the same
  12. So if I paid $10,000 for a cabin, Carnival should just keep giving me free cabins? Maybe Carnival is telling you to slow your roll.
  13. Dream has a Seafood Shack. Same deck, opposite side from Pizzeria. It replace Tandoor. I think in 2017. I know I ate there in 2019.
  14. and there you go. VIFP offers are targeted marketing and Carnival doesn't divulge why some get what and others don't. Your VIFP level (like Platinum) could be a factor.
  15. You do get some benefits like free laundry that you won't have to pay for (if you normally do).
  16. You might contact the special needs department for suggestions. https://www.carnival.com/about-carnival/special-needs
  17. They block some of the common ports used by some VPNs. Change the VPN protocol and you change the ports your VPN uses.
  18. If you can adjust the VPN settings try enabling Obfuscated Servers (OpenVPN-TCP) or equivalent under Protocols.
  19. I only see Mobile https://www.carnival.com/airport-transfers/mobile
  20. The magic word you are looking for is DELUXE ocean view with the extra half sort-of bath. Carnival Celebration®, Carnival Horizon®, Carnival Jubilee™, Mardi Gras®, Carnival Panorama® and Carnival Vista®
  21. A second one showed up. Probably a couple more to go, but then I'm not sure which cards I used. I'll reconcile them next month and see if anything is missing. It isn't like all that jumped on the offer didn't cause Carnival extra work and headache. Everyone should expect to share in the pain. We knew it was a bogus offer.
