Not really. You can fill up empty plastic Poland Spring bottles in the fitness room. There is a water fountain with a water bottle sensor on it. There will not be any mess. Tons of people were doing this on my last cruise.

I have been on many HAL cruises and I do not find any of the staff lazy. Getting on and off the ship? Security works hard scanning my room card.

I think there has been a general trend over the last 10-15 years for parents to raise children in a cocoon. They telling them not to talk to strangers at all and to distrust people in general. Social media and Mainstream Media show a steady does of stories about murderers or pedophiles. This tells young people people that anyone can be bad and it is best to stay away from everyone. Covid made things worse. Many students stayed home for months and were told to only talk to their circle of friends.

I am a high school social studies teacher and there are huge numbers of students with social anxiety today. It's not just the occasional student that doesn't like presenting to the class, many students go the entire school year without talking to anyone else but their closest friends while at school. When I mention talking to strangers at school or out in the real world, a look of sheer panic ensues.

I will never do My Time dining on Royal Caribbean again. I sailed them last summer on the Ovation of the Seas and we would go down to eat and there was always a line. Typically we had to stand 15-30 minutes to get a table. This is before we made it to the podium.

I have sailed Carnival many times and I like their open dining. The APP tells you how long of a wait you have if you want to eat in the MDR. If you don't awnt to eat there, there are often other options to pick from without additional charge (in addition to the buffet). For open dining to work on HAL, I think they need more complementary dining options and an app that tells people how long the wait is.

Not to mention CO was promoted heavily in this forum.

I'm on the NS in July for 10 days. If Club Orange is freezing, I'll just go to the MDR. I'm traveling solo and don't want to eat alone all the time anyway!

They have changed something recently and you cannot use dining credits when it first opens up.

This is because people are booking the HIA package which has a shore excursion credit for each person.

It should be right next to the pool bar. It was there a year ago.

Slightly off-topic but I hope HAL fixes the self-serve draught on the Pinnacle ships! I love getting Newcastle Brown draught but the machine is always down. Sadly.

Do you think this was done to mislead people (malicious) or because of a lack of communication in the company?

I wonder if there is a way to increase the odds that you will actually get on the ship. I think if someone (perhaps on cruise critic) knows that will not make a cruise at the last minute (within a week of departure or less) could post that in this forum or on a Facebook page. Then I would know that, yes, one cabin is now available. Would this information help people?

I wonder if the date the EBB will depend on how well the cruise is selling.
