  1. Why would anyone tip for an item that's given to everyone on the ship as a standard practice? Seem to me, it's someone that just doesn't know the Princess routines & wants to try & make an impression.
  2. The most traveled passenger luncheon. It's limited to 40 people who have the most days traveled on Princess.
  3. We found that is was treated just like any other non refundable OBC so we used it in the casino.
  4. We're also headed in that direction since most of the Elite incentives that we actually use, are gone. Other than the MT luncheon and early boarding it would be nice to see what HAL or Celebrity has to offer these days.
  5. Requests like that were common a few years ago but like others have said, probably not any longer. Give it a shot. What do you have to lose?
  6. That sound reasonable, although having done that on a cruise one time the individual, who was in the gym, called security who deescalated the situation and told me that it was always wiser to have the pool attendants remove the articles. You only do what's necessary. For me, it's usually seeing an unoccupied chair with items on them in the shade. I find a near by seat or roam around waiting for their return while timing them to return. Unless their partner was monitoring their chair there's no reason it should go unused for 45 minutes.
  7. It seems to be one of the really bad locations for signal reception.
  8. But were those cakes made with the exact same ingredients? They might have looked similar but completely different.
  9. From what others have posted that is usually not the case. I really don't know since we eat at 5 PM and there's never a problem.
  10. You could always leave one on a treadmill for laughs. Be sure to send a photo.
  11. Unfortunately unless you dine early or very late it doesn't appear that you'll be able to have the same wait staff. Their new DMW system seems to be designed for their convenience and not what some customers would like.
  12. That's OK with lots of folks who would rather breath clean air in the Piazza. If they want my money they'll stop the smoking altogether.
  13. Now that I haven seen yet. My husband is always saves my seat for me in the theater and sometimes lays my travel water bottle bag across the seat until I arrive. We've never had a problem saving at least that one seat. Not a problem at the buffet even with no one at the table.
  14. I believe we only walked through the area once and a waitress was serving a table tight next to the railing at that time. There was hardly enough room to sneak past. From that point on we went on the other side.
  15. Chair hoggng seems to affect those areas as well. You might as well join the crowd and reserve yourself one.
  16. We didn't go to Sur La Mer but from what I've been reading it was the openness and noise of people passing through that detracted from the experience. Unless they section off the area it won't change the ambiance to any degree.
  17. Actually a table at the buffet provides a much better view.
  18. It is strange that we always get the seat we want & don't have to tip anything to the head waiter. If it works for you then keep up the tipping. It must do something to improve you meal.
  19. Another reason to eat at 5 PM. Same table, same waiter- no crowds.
  20. Ah, yes. They do have those upgraded pastries in Sabatini's. They have no resemblance in taste to the ones at the IC.
  21. It seems ridiculous not to allow someone to just have the gelato portion of the dessert. Just hold back all the candy & liquor out of the glass and it's finished. 😄
  22. Yep, I'll have to dust off the Rum Runners for next trip. After I remove the Package from my next cruise it'll save about $1,400 from the total for items that I can no longer justify.
