Honestly, if you can't remember to bring your life jacket, how to put it on and where to go during an emergency, you have more problems than an in person drill would provide.
Possibly a talk with one of the crew members might help alleviate your concerns.
So as I understand it, a portable router will feed back into the intranet system. thus providing for switching anywhere on the ship, not only in the cabin?
Similar on the Enchanted but having tried a small piece of many of them, they all tasted almost identical.
Lots of Princess whipped cream disguised as frosting. 😄 LOL
Pretty to look at but not worth eating.
When the day comes that Princess actually makes an delicious cake (included) I think we'll all be amazed.
Looks like just another "pay to eat" option on Princess.
I doubt they'll ever be another free option for food on any of their ships. They seem to be elimination the included things with pay items.
It all depends on what you enjoyment is during a cruise. If you don't care about a decent seat for any of the shows or other entertainment then showing up at the DR door at 7 PM or wait for the late show at 9 PM and it'll suit some people just fine.
They don't care if it does take over 2 hours to finish dinner.
We prefer to see an early show followed by some game shows so it means early dinner between 5 & 6 PM.
You'll be amazed at the number of people eating dinner as we leave the DR at 6:20 or so.
Many of the door sensors had problems back then and have since been corrected. Our room steward use a card last cruise for all his assigned doors & it seemed to work flawlessly every time.
I saw the crew checking in people holding tablets for that reserved seating on the Enchanted. I'm not sure how it worked but they did make an announcement 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the show that those seats were open to the general public.
Sometimes it just doesn't pay to be cheap but I guess most people won't notice the difference since a phone will still be charged overnight,
My desk will still be cluttered with phones and tablets but the watches can stay on the nightstand.
I told my husband not to send in his things for cleaning last cruise as I didn't want to see his good shirts get ruined but that left me with a big load of shirts to do at home. Next time I'll have him bring mostly older shirts so I won't be so concerned.
Princess is definitely not know to have a lot of participation for any on deck parties. More people do attend their indoor parties but still not overwhelming.
The "new" method I was using wasn't actually new but I would have preferred to use my Roku device to view my movies if I could have. It allows for using an earpiece with the remote so as to not disturb others sleeping. I don't even think my Roku will feed an USB input but I didn't have a cable to even try it.
Plugging a hard drive directly into the USB worked fine as long as it was formatted for NTFS and not exFAT.
btw - I was using a 2 TB Seagate HD and didn't need any external power. If you device does need power, be sure to bring a very short AC splitter cord to utilize the same AC that the TV does. It's hard to unplug the TV & reconnect.
I've never tried in in reverse although if you leave the cabin before the video is complete, they'll know. I do know that if your leave the medallion with the cabin mate to go get drinks, it'll work fine.
Just go to the location given on the cabin door & see how it works out.
What you posted is very true but if those same kids were given the opportunity to choose for themselves, I suspect they would have chosen a more active cruise line than Princess.
