  1. You could go fishin’ with that! 🤣 Do you put that in your pocket? I never used mine yet. Anything in my DH’s pocket, seems to fall out. 😆 So he uses the silicone bracelet.

  3. We don’t like lanyards, so we bought the rubber bracelets from PCL once OB. We wear those the most, because they are soft and comfortable. I also have fitbit bracelets, similar but don’t feel they are as secure holding the medallion. Bought those back in 2018 when medallion first came out for our ship. I also purchased the gold necklace holder, but it doesn’t reach the scanners off/on the ship. Or if you have to take it off to show the crew member, you have to pop it out. So not practical. Also have the gold metal bracelet. Nice but runs small, so try it in first and it’s metal, so not comfortable. Okay for formal night. So, for ease if use, comfortable, etc, we like the Princess recycled rubber bracelet.
  4. Yes, it was. But, seems changes have been made since that webinar on July 27th. Another poster just reported from OB the Crown, that the TV menus were removed permanently on July 31, 23. Here’s the thread.

  6. What were the hundreds of dollars for on your folio? Did you call the billing department to get an explanation? If that would even help. Did you see these charges while on the ship? Did you check your folio the last day? Good luck to you.
  7. Your CVP in NZ or US? I’ve heard of other CVP’s that have pushed it through quickly. Wish all TA’s/CVP’s could do that.

  10. Seems as though it should be $150 for you both. Maybe the extra is the additional in insurance you would pay on this, if you have Princess Ins. It’s not a TA commission. It would be $162.00 with the UG and extra insurance cost. Anyway, you did it! Enjoy!
  11. No we can’t. All we can do is try to post what we find on the website or from PCL representatives. But, even that is fluid. I agree with Don, we just want clear answers.
  12. He is absolutely correct. The webinar was yesterday Aug. 10th. I watched it because I thought the VP would give more information on the new changes. I fast forwarded through all the polar instructions. Which it seemed to be a video instruction for new agents. Maybe they could use this for internal training? 😳 The information on the new beverage packages was very short and a sales pitch for selling them. I was trying to see if we had any answers to our questions here on CC. Nope!
  13. Did you book with a TA or CVP? If so, they can help. Did you have insurance? Princess? If so, there’s a link on the insurance site, you can apply for FCC’s. Did you have any medical bills or any other expenses, or just the isolation? A little more info will help to guide you.

  15. I was just thinking all this crazy responses could be because they said yesterday on the webinar, for the agencies to bear with them because they were changing vendors. So, not sure which vendors, but sounded like it had to do with polar. So, it may straighten out soon, I hope.

  17. Yes, probably another IT issue. At this point, I wouldn’t worry about anything, just show up and they will get you going. When I get the Green lane on the App, I just do a screenshot and show them. Sometimes, it goes back to green the day before. Let us know if yours ever turns back. Could be interesting.🥴
  18. And I have to agree with you on your possible reasoning. However, don’t say you are being crystal clear and transparent and keep changing the wording on the website and the webinars. This verbiage was only 2 weeks ago on the website. Just make the changes, be up front with the fees so we know what to expect on our next cruise. I think most of us would appreciate a clear statement online of what standard guests can expect. I thought we had it, until now.
  19. I thought you had ordered them, even though you were you were picking them up at the port? For each person on your booking. You can do that on the App, just click pick up at the port. That completes the checkin.
