  1. You do the same as any airline ticket, checkin with DL 24 hrs before and get your BP. I would suggest to download the DL App and make sure you see your booking. Check your flight and times.

  5. I don’t think a lot of folks go to different MDR’s every night, since they are basically the same. It’s nice to pick the one most convenient for you. We stay midship and forward, so we like the midship DR’s. The food is the same in all 3 of the MDR’s. It’s nice to get seated every night with the Maitre’d/DR Mgr and the crew gets to know you when you walk up. Guess it really is up to you. You’ll get to know all 3 DR Mgr’s. 😁

  7. You can book the internet on the App. Go to your cruise: Move down, look for: Medallion Net click on that pick the plan 1 device or 4 devices and purchase
  8. It’s not on the App. It is listed on the website, cruise personalizer, itinerary, excursions. But, if you booked through a TA, then you would call them to book it for you. At least, that’s what I’ve found on the US bookings. Emma, if you booked the cruise through Princess/CVP, then you would call them, if you don’t see an option to book it under the cruise personalizer. TA, then you won’t see an option, call the TA.
  9. I have not seen them return since the restart. We were on the CB for 6 cruises and they said they were short staffed and that’s why they were not open. The Planks BBQ and Steamers were located in the Aft of the Horizon Court or Buffet. Now, it’s just used as extra seating for the buffet.
  10. We’ve done disembarking excursions with others many times. Same instructions apply. Book the same time of excursion, go to assembly point together and get on the same bus. No big deal. Just sit together in the theater or wherever you meet and go together to the bus.
  11. Great plan! This time of year, it should be faster than 6-9 weeks. That’s the standard time shown on the Government websites. Let us know.
  12. It has been taking 6-9 weeks. You could apply for a renewal online, US passport. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew-online.html They are supposed to go all erenewals, so this seems like a test run for the new program. You have a lot of time left, could you renew after this April one, instead of before? I have them same situation, but more time after my next cruise to renew.
  13. True, but don’t believe GS all the time either. I asked on the CB and they said no, they don’t roll over. She was just guessing and I knew they always have. Don’t know why I even asked. Actually, they DID rollover to the next b2b, automatically. I had six b2b’s, so it was very important. Seems like a lot of misinformation on these cruises, so I usually ask in the Suite/Elite line. Usually they are more experienced. Usually…..
  14. We’ve done this many times, no problem. Just make sure to book the same time for the excursion. And you must go together at the designated tour meeting area. You’ll be given colored/numbered stickers to wear. Just get on the same bus.
  15. I have seen so many variables. So many contradictory statements. We were told, you don’t have to do anything, you’ll automatically get your FCC’s in your account. From an officer at GS while OB. You need to contact Princess to get the FCC’s. Who? You need to file with the insurance company. Who? Aon? There is a link to apply for FCC’s, Medical? Trip Interruption? No flights, or medical charges involved. ONLY isolation OB due to covid. We have Princess Platinum Protection Plan. It really should be more clear cut. Really need help to know the right action to take. TIA

  18. Thanks. I usually just buy PCL platinum ins. Wonder now about CFAR and how close to sailing it would cover you. I need to read the policy. We only started buying insurance after the covid restart. Now, wouldn’t sail without it.
  19. Would never rely on same day flight. So many things can go wrong with flights, weather etc. If you are able to change your flight, I would. ATL is due to get rain during that period, but those aircrafts could be coming from snowy areas and be delayed or cancelled.

  21. You may have an option, after final payment to do an upgrade to a club class mini. Usually, they send out upgrade offers about 85 days before sailing, or about 5 days after final payment. Or, watch your cruise to see if a CC mini opens up before your final payment. You never know.
