  1. You’ve been given great advice on here. I agree, you should contact a TA/CVP, as they could check it further. It’s not always under GTY. This cruise can be booked as a 7 day, 14 day or a b2b. They will hold some cabins to be booked as a 14 day. It also originates as a TA 15 day journey to FLL over Thanksgiving. Maybe some doing a b2b with your sailing. Let us know how it works out.
  2. You don’t say how far out this is? Normally, you can select the cabin, unless: It’s already sold out or if you’re closer in, say, just after final payment, they could be working upgrades. Many variables. Or, if you are just before final payment, you might wait till after final payment and recheck, in case there were cancellations in your category and you can then secure a cabin you want. Aft balconies are very popular. I have been able to pick mine every time, except once, I did a guarantee. It worked out great. YMMV
  3. Click on DMW, find the date, add reservations…you should see Main dining room and specialty restaurants… I’ve booked them more than a year out.
  4. It was the old price last week. They’ve been doing price changes since Dec 14th.
  5. No, it’s just not available yet. Like others say, no worries! IF you really want to select a time, it can open anytime between 59 days before sailing up to 12 days before. This is what I’ve noticed this past year.
  6. I hope you booked it quickly! I show $959 interior online now not $100.
  7. Agree! OP should talk with a supervisor or officer at GS and not rely on a possible new employee to take care of this. You should not have to go several times to GS to get this taken care of. Wasted vacation time IMO.
  8. Probably a new employee at GS. They mail you a check, they say it comes in about 2 weeks, but it’s more like 6-8 weeks for mine. It comes in a window envelope from Bottomline Technology for Princess Cruises. Just watch for it.
  9. Make sure to book the same time on the excursion. You need to go together when you go to your meeting assembly. They will give you a sticker to wear, which is the group number. You’ll get the same one. When your group is called, just stay together and board the same bus. Easy.
  10. Never heard of that before. Are you sure you didn’t have that booking number on a previous request? They work it by booking numbers.
  11. Yes you do have to apply every cruise with a different booking number. They are running about 21 days behind, they say.
  12. You can request it on the App. My Preferences>Room>Princess Patter. Or, just tell your cabin steward.
  13. Click on profile/picture (lower right corner) Look at the sea witch. Shows the loyalty color.
  14. Then, it is the known issue with the App. If you call your TA/CVP or PCL you can tell them you want to purchase MedallionNet with your discount. Sometimes they will do it, not always. They may tell you to purchase full price and get the 50% OB. This has been a problem for a very long time, off and on. If you have time, you can send a message to IT: askoceanmedallion@carnival.com Or, do the phone call routine.
  15. I would not bother at this point to contact them over a boarding group. Just go when you have planned. Have a great cruise.
  16. No they don’t. There are laundrettes OB, that you can do your own laundry. Uses tokens purchased OB.
  17. There are still pricing issues with the App and have been since last week. I have not heard of a fix time. Your loyalty level may or may not have any effect on this. Check your account online and see if it reads correctly as platinum. Did you try to purchase on the website version of the App? Not sure what that response is now. You don’t say when your sailing, if time, I’d give it a few days to see if it’s fixed. It may correct itself! 😳 If not, I’d call PCL, pick the option to talk to the Medallion App team and report it, if it’s only incorrect on the App.
  18. Lol. Actually, ours wasn’t that bad to the South Pacific that just returned Dec 7th. A few times it knocked me off, in and around the Equator, only momentarily. Although, I did not do streaming.
  19. All my cruises say that too. Believe it’s because they are updating pricing for the last few days.
  20. You could check the current roll call now for the ship that you’ll eventually be on and see if someone would ask the FCD desk that question. Many are going to visit the desk anyway, to buy FCD’s or future cruises.
  21. Sounds like this booking needs to be corrected, if you’re still showing the wrong pricing. You could call and select the App team option or send an email to the IT team. Be sure to include your full name, ship and sail date and booking number. askoceanmedallion@carnival.com
