  1. Right. So can those in quarantine or isolation now in the UK just rebook and fly home now, covid positive?
  2. Do you think they will quarantine? Who’s going to pay for it? Will Princess? Will insurance cover it? So many variables.
  3. It does say original vax card on the website, from the US. I don’t believe this is fully functional yet, but maybe will be used in the future. JMO
  4. Yes, definitely don’t stress over it, not worth it.
  5. Oh my! I heard fatigue is bad. Are you back to normal now?
  6. Glad your getting back on! Some people do have a hard time and get pretty ill. Not everyone just has a mild cold. Have a great cruise and don’t get sick this time! 😳

  8. So true. Just like those on the Emerald right now. Princess is trying to reduce or slow down the infection. Really sad when people can’t follow such a simple rule from the Captain.
  9. I would contact their media department. Or, call their corporate office in Santa Clarita. 10. Yes, that’s true. Okay, I’ll try it. Just kidding! 😝
  11. Don’t know, but I have seen it over the years. I don’t have one, but I do read the signs and scan the Q&A’s. Take care
  12. OMG…that is so funny!!! I was going to try it… Wouldn’t I look crazy with my phone… trying to open it. 🤣
  13. I have seen the pacemaker warning many times since we first used it in 2018. It’s also on their website, under Q&A for the medallion. Is a Medallion wearable safe to use if I have a pacemaker, or other medical device? The Medallion wearable includes magnets and RF technology that have been designed and manufactured to meet the radio frequency (RF) requirements set by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. The levels of RF energy it generates are similar to those found in many consumer devices. Manufacturers of Implantable Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs) typically recommend that you keep your medical device 9 inches (23 cm) away from RF transmitters comparable to the one found inside the Medallion wearable. However, as every device differs, so you should check directly with the manufacturer of your medical device and physician for guidance. You can always ask for the key card instead. Warnings in anything magnetic. Also the airport security scanners, etc. Thank you for the review.
  14. We never heard any noises, balcony across from the laundry room. The only noises are people sometimes in the hallways talking very loud, but that can be any where on the ship.
  15. Are you serious? I never tried that. I always just have my medallion on me. I forgot my OM once and had to find my Steward to let me in. I had my phone with me…would have been nice to know. I’m gonna try it. 🤔
  16. Ours wasn’t that way. I’m listed as no 1 in the booking. I could see my charges, but had to go to DH folio to see both our charges.
  17. Thanks for that. Did you notice if it said approved After you boarded? I believe it is intended for future cruises also. Once it’s fully operational. 😳
  18. Yes, I saw that. I was hoping they would extend it, at least till the end of the year, as HAL did and they are part of CCL group. We’ll see.
  19. Anyone heard if this will be extended? Some cruise lines have extended their policy till the end of this year.
  20. I have a feeling….you’re right. I think it will be really good in the future, when it’s fully implemented. Cheers
  21. I think you are totally correct. I believe this is will eventually take the place of paper, however it does still say you need to show the original vax card from US. So, if it doesn’t work, don’t fret, your going to show your card anyway. We are testing for IT how this works! 😂 I was told by IT last week that they are making updates and it should show approved prior to boarding, which in my mind, is when they have checked your documents to board. If anyone has received an approval on the vax download prior to port day, I’d love to know about it. JMO
  22. Okay thanks for the update. I don’t see how medical at the port would be involved. If you answer you have NOT been in close contact with anyone testing positive. Which is the truth. And of course you test negative before the cruise. You will have to cancel him, though before the cruise though, submit it to insurance, etc. Best of luck!
