  1. It shows up usually a few days before sailing on the OM. QR is Not necessary. You’re in the green lane, if you receive your OM.
  2. Careful. We’re not allowed to mention TA or CVP names on CC.
  3. It could. She would need to delete her CC, if she had you as an authorized user. She can delete hers and re-enter it, and not show you as an authorized user, if you want to just use your own CC on your booking. Good luck.
  4. Are you sure you don’t have 2 captain circle numbers, or your DW? Make sure the website is correct and wait a few days and try agsin. If you used a TA or CVP, they should be able to help. Did you just cancel the other cruise? It does take a few days to drop off the App.
  5. Did you delete your cc in the payment section on the App? Delete it also for your partner, if traveling with someone. Sign out and back in. Enter your credit card again and pick your partner as an authorized user. Check the expiration date on your cc, make sure it doesn’t expire before the sail date.
  6. I’ve only seen crew family/friends come OB.
  7. So, what happened? Did they finally take them? TIA
  8. I show the number: 866-451-6305 Rewards and the Customer care number: (877) 579-9552
  9. You bought on the actual AARP website? If you bought it from them, they need to correct it, not Princess. Ask for a supervisor at AARP. You checked to see, right away to see the balance? Princess.com/giftcard Or, was this a while ago? Were you trying to pay for a cruise with a TA? Watch out for a fake website. Did you call the number on that website, or compare the number separately?
  10. What a great review! 360 pics brought back memories from our experience. I loved the twist…. “why we couldn't wait to disembark.” I thought you were not coming back. Though, didn’t like that you got sick. Hope you’re doing well now.
  11. Right. We went to the Elite party and like to hear the numbers. So surprising they are increasing the new cruisers by these large numbers. So, their marketing targets are working.
  12. We love having drinks on our balcony or cocktails before dinner. Nice to not have to order a drink or go to a bar all the time. So, we appreciate the convenience.
  13. This was from the Food and Beverage manager, who knew the figures on the beverage packages on our current cruises. He said on the average, about 70-75% buy the packages. Higher on the shorter cruises. What information were you given? Was it on a long cruise or short? Just curious. Sorry to the OP…we got off the subject. 🥴
  14. Definitely! I feel flying roundtrip, hotels costs and all the prep, it’s really worth it to do the longer ones. Of course, when we were working, would couldn’t get a month off at one time. So, we did a lot of 14night cruises. If we lived in a port city, it would be a different story.
  15. Totally agree. They are doing so many of the 7-10 money maker cruises, which attracts the blues. It is working for them, we’ve seen an enormous amount of new cruisers on our shortest cruises. We just did a 15 night and it was packed with blues with 90% on the beverage packages. It was a huge money maker for them and the casino made a fortune. That is a short cruise for us. 😳 The next one, a b2b, was a 32 night. 60% purchased the beverage package and a lot less blues. So, I can clearly see the way they are headed. Seems as those long cruises will be limited and more expensive in the future. JMO
  16. That’s awesome! All those green slips! 😀
  17. Just that person in RS. I was just on the Sapphire and RS had a list of wines we could swap, there was a Rose included. I would have asked the Food and Beverage Mgr, that’s ridiculous.
  18. It does say on the FCD letter or confirmation email it is valid on voyages up to 44 days. Is this a true 54 day voyage, and not actually bookable as 2 voyages? I also have a true 54 day and it doesn’t qualify.
  19. Agreed. Since the restart, I’ve noticed a lot of nee GS employees. Also, have been told wrong information. I usually go through the Suite/Elite line, as they are normally more informed. Now, I do question them or their supervisor, if I feel it is incorrect information. It does say on your folio, that if it is $25 or more, you will receive a check. Or, under $25, then see GS before disembarkation. I would show that to them. They really should just refund back to your CC on file. If you owe them, they have no problem charging that card, even if it is under $25. JMO
  20. If this were my friend, I’d ask if he got a confirmation from the TA, as that will show FP date and a booking number. I’d tell them to go on the website and pull up the booking, request my DR, preferences, etc. It is possible this is a wholesale agency with block space and they will release the passenger names closer to date. What their deadlines are, IDK. That means, PCL may not require the name list until 60 days before or 30 days before, etc . We don’t know what their agreement is. So, that means you won’t see the individual booking on the website until names have been released to PCL. Doubtful FP it would be 2 days before sailing though. With a GTY cabin, it is possible to find out on sailing day. You can ask the baggage handler, but in Civitavecchia, it may be more difficult. US ports, they can check on the computer or a PCL agent. Or, if there is a TA group leader, they may have a check in desk. IF it was a close friend, I’d try again to help, but that’s just me. Let us know what happens.
  21. I’d send a message to IT to fix your account. It definitely sounds like a corrupt account. A360ad7@Carnival.com You will need: Full names dob booking numbers sail date and ship cancelled cruise info new booking info Explain what has happening. Errors, etc Not sure how quickly they will respond, as they have been working on a new App or revised? Seems to be impacting bookings on the App. Let us know
  22. Great! The hotel told me every guest has breakfast included. I verified they had my reservation each time, by calling the front desk, Eventually, it showed up on the Hyatt website, using my Hyatt number.
  23. If you do buy it again on the App, you should get an email confirmation right away.
  24. Torch lighters are prohibited in checked or carryon baggage per the TSA. You can carry a disposable lighter or zippo lighter in carryon. It is always at the discretion of the TSA agent. https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all?page=48
