  1. In the pinnacle, but they do charge for shrimp cocktail in the MDR now. On the koningsdam that I just got off of Saturday they had buy one get the second drink for 50% off. Some people have reported 25% off on some ships.
  2. Absolutely they will. I had a virgin Caesar most days. Hal makes the best Caesar’s I have tasted anywhere and I’ve tasted many.
  3. I got a steal of a deal. They had a “special” of a massage and a facial for $179 plus tip. I even left her an additional tip which she was surprised about but she did a great job. I did have a fair bit of non refundable obc to burn through. You can only shop so much. I did get that “coupon” last time but not this time. That’s really the advantage of those 10 day cruises. Better ports and kids are more rare.
  4. I saw the same dishes outside a cabin every day for two weeks. They weren’t quarantined either. Saw them all standing in the hallway. Dishes were everywhere, in the elevator, hallways, railings anywhere you could put anything.

  6. It was beautiful and I kept it for the 13 days. It was looking a little ragged by the end but I couldn’t bring myself to throw it out.
  7. I have my original tags still on my luggage. Just got off the koningsdam yesterday. I had club orange. Nowhere on the tags does it say priority. I can’t speak for Neptune suites.

  9. I know this isn’t what you are asking but I got a gorgeous bouquet on the ship. I don’t recall seeing a picture of it online. I went to the front desk and picked it out. I did post a picture here.
  10. You would think everything would come on at the same time. I’m not a good sleeper so I’m up a lot of the night. I was surprised when it still wasn’t on at 5:30 but thought it was because they started late. I’m an early riser as well but I veg in my cabin until around 8.
  11. Mine was over four hours on the November 12 cruise and on the 19 it was on at 1:30 am and not on at 4:30 and didn’t come on until after 5:30.
  12. We had beautiful weather for the Nov 12 and 19. That said as soon as the sun went down it cooled off quickly. As the poster above mentioned the internet was terrible for MOST sites. It was down for some period in every port. I couldn’t access several sites even though I upgraded to premium the last few days.
  13. The mdr was not open on the koningsdam on November 12 and 19/22. I physically went down and checked on November 12 and it was definitely closed. Both cruises were jammed to the rafters so it was surprising. I don’t enjoy the lido either.
  14. Your luggage doesn’t get delivered any faster with club orange. I wonder if it gets delivered an quicker in a Neptune suite. I was in the first boarding group on the koningsdam on Nov 11 which was 11:30. We boarded closer to 12. My luggage didn’t show until about 3:30.
  15. I've spent 500 days on hal ship plus another 100 or so on other lines. Is this happening on every cruise shop on every line? I've had it happen on one ship for maybe 1 hour during the night. I wonder why this hasn't happened on every cruise I've been on.
  16. My pvr has recorded this program for the nieuw statendam what seems like about 10 times even though I thought I'd said only new episodes. There must be something stuck on my pvr. That's my favorite ship. Enjoy your cruise.
  17. I missed this post first time around. If this is happening weekly seems like a bigger issue to me.
  18. It would be nice if they had the same rules for everyone. When I used a pcc I told her about this. She told me the next time I booked she would talk to them about not charging me right away. Next time rolled around the conversation was forgotten and I had to pay again. I get tired of arguing about it. It’s just less to pay at final. I always use an fcc.

  20. Totally possible. The thing is when I asked at the front desk why wasn’t there a note sent out to let us know, just a nasty surprise. This person told me there was a note (last week) and that housekeeping misplaced it. I did ask a number of people and all theirs got lost too I guess. This week we definitely got notice. The front desk person also told me that my turnaround papers got lost. I had to plead for them at the front desk. Also had to go back for the in transit card. My cabin stewards are excellent by the way but apparently they lose everything 🤪.
  21. And that is more the issue. It seems like no one here does that. Only in the daylight hours.
