  1. $92 to insure $200 ... still not a good investment. Edit: Maybe the $92/room was for solo, not double? Per person. Non-refundable deposit: Non-refundable deposit booking (“NRDB”) cancelled prior to final payment due date will receive a future cruise credit in the amount of the deposit minus a $100 per person service fee. FCC is non-transferable and expires after 12-months from issue date (FCC not applicable to select Asia markets). 100USD/100CAD/80EUR per person service fee applies to changes to NRDB ship or sail date.
  2. Nassau is basically a "sea day" ... the ship's pools are usually crowded.
  3. You have now become an honorary member of the points police. 😜
  4. Getting an extra point for solo has nothing to do with > 350 nights (points).
  5. I enjoyed my Oasis sailing in mid October with 3100 passengers. 🙂
  6. As mentioned in other threads, Anthem has had kettles (even while in the US) since the restart last summer. I was on her early and late Dec 2021, and the May 2022 TA.
  7. Unknown ... since COVID is not over. 😉 Cruising from Nassau (Adventure of the Seas) started June 12, 2021. Cruising from US ports restarted July 2, 2021 https://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/press-release/1533/calling-all-vacationers-royal-caribbean-announces-us-comeback-for-summer/
  8. Buy a Vision model and change the name to Rhapsody. 😜
  9. Were you in the DL or CL? We were in the CL.
  10. We may have also been delayed waiting for a clear channel to pass the Ever "Grounded".
  11. On my late March sailing there were some staff shortages (mostly bar waiters) and supply shortages, but they seemed to re-supply at Port Canaveral. The staff was pleasant and seemed to be happy to serve. The only issue we had was that it took 3 or 4 attempts before they finally acknowledged and fixed the cabin's lack of hot water.
  12. We sailed at the end of March (8 day Bahamas). We arrived around 11:15 for our 11:00 check-in. No wait to go inside (11:30 check-in line was held outside). Quickly through security (had a D+ "bypass" 🙂 ). Separate check-in line for suites and Pinn, but just a single line for lower tiers. Line moved somewhat slow, but I think we were on the ship shortly after 12 noon.
  13. Anthem also had fruit cups and yogurt parfaits. And smoked salmon, etc.
  14. YMMV. I am spending no more, and often less, on each of my post-restart cruises. I can live with some minor "issues" at the prices I'm paying.
  15. Yeah, haven't seen a US based ship at 6 PM for a long time. For me, 5:30 is too early, but 6 would be okay. I did do 8 PM late seating for a while, but that become too late for me. I now just schedule MTD everyday at 6:30 or 7. ETA: I just did a mock booking for June 19th Explorer and dining times are 5:30 and 8.
  16. Same for the Anthem TA (arrived at 12:15 pm). The only backup I've encountered was Enchantment (Baltimore) in late March. Arrived on time, quickly through security, but then a slow line for check-in (not in Suite or Pinn).
  17. This has been my experience on 7 pre-COVID Grandeur cruises and 1 post-restart Enchantment cruise. I don't recall ever seeing more than 2 people working (or separate lines) at Cafe Lattitudes.
  18. No issues on the 11 night TA from Cape Liberty to Southampton.
  19. You can't get stale cookies at the Windjammer. 😁
  20. Still waiting for my EN block from Mar 25th. Also waiting for my Anthem block from Dec 31st (EN loyalty ambassador requested again).
