Do you or your mom play bingo at all? On my b2b on Freedom last month and I went to the first one on the first day. The fun squad member doing it was so annoying I never went back, and I usually go to quite a few of them. Unfortunately, that meant I spent more time in the casino. On the first day I won a thousand dollars. It went totally downhill from there. 😩 Btw I remember reading some of your earlier reviews when they first got those yummy cakes at the Buffet. This was my first time on a carnival cruise in five years so the first time to try those cakes. Thank goodness I didn’t have the scale with me. You were right they are so good.

Late to your adventure as was on Carnival Freedom. You’re still on the runway is Seattle (probably) cursing the ? United plane trying to sneak in ahead of you. went to Alaska Whittier to Vancouver on Majestic Princess last August-loved it. First time on Princess. Booked NCL Bliss for next April-I want to see more snow. Have a great time.

I am currently on the Freedom and Your Time dining is in the Chic dining room.

I’m finally caught up What a view from your hotel room. We lived in Athens for a year a few decades ago when my husband was in the service. From our apartment we would do our wash and then go up to the rooftop and hang our clothes on the line to dry. You could see the Acropolis from the rooftop. My GS just turned 7 and got the whole Harry Potter outfit. He goes around the house shouting unintelligible spells! He would go crazy in that store at the airport.

Following too although only halfway through right now. Kudos to you learning some of the language!! I also love that when you take a pic with writing on it the next pic is a closeup and I can read it! Very considerate. All the Vietnam pix and info was very moving. My late husband fought there (before I knew him).

I know your review isn’t done (btw I love the long, extra detailed reviews-the “door to door” as you say-but just wanted to add my thanks and looking forward to meeting you in January.

@Greenpea2 I can’t believe I haven’t commented yet! I started your pre-cruise review then life got in the way-I’m all caught up now. So glad you are enjoying and having such a great time. Sounds and looks like a fantastic ship. Have only cruised twice on NCL but in balcony cabins. Know that you are missing sistah but hubs seems to be doing a good job. Looking forward to your 2.0 visit to Cagneys, and to your fab cabana day.

Another great review and pix-and wow that zoom! I feel like you and Patti are old friends and hope to cruise with you someday.
