  1. This is basically what I had said. Yes it's theft, but what can realistically be done about it? What jurisdiction would any legal activity fall under, with this incident involving people and actions in multiple states? This isn't a TV show.
  2. I don't disagree that it's a case of theft, but realistically, what do you think would happen to her, keeping in mind that she is currently in a different state than where the suitcases were taken?
  3. If the passenger had checked the bags, there would not have been ribbons on them. They would have been the correct bags. It seems you are intent on blaming the porter for a mistake the other passenger made.
  4. Is it really up to the porter to make sure someone has their own bags? I would think it's up to the passenger and not the porter.
  5. I think he also stated that the water coming out of the bathroom faucet is the same as the water in the restaurants except that the restaurants have an extra filter. But in terms of salt and mineral content, it's the same.
  6. I agree. I would definitely choose Princess. Royal doesn't go to Glacier Bay National Park.
  7. No: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/aus/en/faq/questions/can-i-bring-an-extension-onboard
  8. I was thinking the exact same thing. A deck 8 corner is a whole lot different than a deck 6 middle aft (if that's what the OP has).
  9. I would hate that view as well. I enjoy being able to look straight down or almost straight down onto the water. But that's the nature of a guarantee room.
  10. How many TVs are in the casino? There are often several games going on at once that people might want to see.
  11. I liked it better before all of the changes were made to it.
  12. Can you post a link? I'm a bit confused about this because most states don't even have cruise ship porters.
  13. Looking at the job descriptions for those two jobs, it doesn't look like either one includes porters: https://www.salary.com/job/canaveral-port-authority/cruise-operations-associate-a-full-time/j202204060416594708098 https://www.salary.com/job/canaveral-port-authority/cruise-operations-associate-b-full-time/j202209140116102505623
  14. Be aware that the people you tip do not put the luggage on the ship. They move it all of about 10 feet onto a cart that is then taken away by somebody else to be put on the ship.
  15. I have found connecting cabins to be more noisy than non-connecting cabins.
  16. So what are you going to do? Answers ranged from $0 per bag to $5 per bag.
