  1. Agreed. The email provides an explanation of what the charge was for.
  2. Interesting. I actually would put Princess above Celebrity. But as you said, JMHO.
  3. Obviously there are people that have never heard any noise from a connecting cabin. But with all other things being equal, with noisy neighbors, I believe that you are more likely to hear noise if you are in a connecting cabin.
  4. Yes, they can be noisy. I would avoid them if possible.
  5. I would think that the batteries power the display also. It would seem hard to believe that there would be a separate power source for the display. Edit: I just realized you mean the keypad numbers. As others have indicated, a flashlight would help with that.
  6. I thought they were battery operated. I'm pretty sure I've had to have the batteries replaced in one of them.
  7. Also having them chop the salad the way they did blended the ingredients in a way that would be hard to accomplish using a knife and fork on a plate.
  8. This link (https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-23?language=en_US) indicates $778, but it references the same link you provided, which indicates $941. Very confusing.
  9. If you look closely you can see how straight (North American) prongs would fit into it.
  10. What does the socket look like? I forget.
  11. Yes. It's marked for razors but you can plug in a low current item such as a night light.
  12. Princess and Celebrity are higher end versions of Carnival and Royal Caribbean. They tend to cater more toward adults and perhaps older passengers than Carnival and Royal Caribbean, which cater more toward families.
  13. What insurance company are you buying it from? Different ones have different rules.
  14. One difference would be that if someone comes back too late and the ship has already left, the ship would have spent some time and effort and expense trying to locate the late person, and would have left the port late. With what the OP is proposing, the ship would know that the person was rejoining the ship at the next port and would be able to leave on time with no effort spent trying to find the person.
  15. Actually it's a measurement of power, not current.
  16. On a somewhat related tangent, when and why did the "normal" tipping amount at US restaurants go up from 15% to 18% or 20% or whatever it is now? I've been told that it's because of inflation, but if that's the case, then wouldn't that 15% tip go up along with the inflating prices of the menu items?
