I don't believe that is the case. The cruise lines are trying desperately to hire them back, but many decided that they prefer staying and working at home, and do not want to go back.

Does it also go to Hubbard? I would only go on an Alaskan cruise that visited Hubbard (especially) and Glacier Bay.

Thanks for the review. We were on Brilliance earlier this year out of Tampa, and while it was obviously a different cruise, we felt the same way as you about the ship. The entertainment was disappointing and the food was hit or miss (mostly miss). What crew there was, was great. They were obviously working very hard, and were stretched thin. You are right about the outdoor screen...they should just turn it off.

Agreed. I've noticed empty tables at restaurants because the restaurant cares enough to not stuff people inside only to have them wait a long time for service. The cruise lines continue to just pack them in, regardless of the level of service.

I prefer Freedom class. Good balance of activities and amount of walking necessary to reach them. On Oasis class, a lot of walking is involved to get between activities.

You are right...you can see into them very easily. Be sure to keep the curtains closed when you don't want people looking in. As far as noise, it depends on where the cabin is (what it's above).

What some people consider to be "improvements", others consider to be a negatives. It was much more of what one thinks of when thinking of a tropical island before all of the so-called "improvements".
