    Just for speculation …. would Oasis and Utopia both be in Europe in 2024?

    I can’t see the western med being that attractive through the winter to make it worthwhile. Barcelona just about makes it to double digits Celsius over the next few days. A scan of random places around eastern med isn’t a lot warmer. Don’t see many people paying for that. Maybe round trips from the canaries would be better.

    If they were performing any meaningful changes why aren’t they telling anyone? EOS stopped making revenue for RC yesterday but I’d expect if there was an amp coming they’d be selling it.

    Sorry, I don’t have specific info on screen time and noise. I didn’t stay in a CP room, I just know we spent less time in CP as it wasn’t as pleasant as Oasis.

    In the US can you book as refundable and then when you’re sure you’re going to sail, convert to non-refundable and get a better price?

    I haven’t seen this in years. I suspect the bean counters killed this off a long time ago. Also, probably wouldn’t exist in a pandemic / endemic.

    Even when there wasn’t anything playing on the screen, they still played music or background artificial bird tweeting. For us it was needless and took away from the ambiance of the space. IMO there are other places for music, there’s no need to have it everywhere.

    I personally haven’t stayed in CP rooms but maybe the other end of CP would be better. We loved spending time in CP on Oasis but not so much on Wonder.

    And each side of the screen, they are speakers. They might look small compared to the size of the screen but they pack a punch and the crew is not afraid to use them.

    This isn’t a good swap. Mykonos is replaced by Athens. It’s happened across a lot of EOS itineraries for summer 23.

    Central Park on WOS seems to be noisier than other Oasis class. The placement of the large screen over CP takes away from the space IMO.

    The silent disco on Wonder last year was great fun. It happened once a week. There was mediocre bands playing every night somewhere on the ship, most annoyingly on the Royal Promenade. I wish they could have been silent so the rising tides bar or the schooner bar was a nice place to sit.

    Check out category 1A, 1K and 1R. Not all of those are on all ships but they’re a very affordable way to bring a family on a cruise. We use them all the time.

    Someone highlighted previously that the window includes time to get from the US to Europe and back again, so only part of the time is in dry dock.
