  1. I can relate to the Cosmo comment. ๐Ÿ˜‚ There have been many cruises where I start out my quest for the perfect Cosmo, leaving many drinks behind after one sip and off to another bar. Often I the right bar and crew who will make it as it should be.
  2. If wine tasting in WA is the goal, check out Woodinville. 30 (probably more) tasting rooms all within walking distance of one another.
  3. Looks like Santos was promoted. He is absolutely the best WCB mixologist and anyone he has trained is excellent.
  4. I think we got off the elevator at least once a day because people feel the need to see how many people will cram into the small space. And itโ€™s disappointing that X has no social distancing reminders anywhere anymore. Iโ€™m surprised that the small S Pacific Islands are letting people disembark.
  5. I asked Future Cruises this question last month, I was told Thanksgiving timeframe.
  6. Good to know, we took the shuttle in April, Im surprised this was discontinued.
  7. We disembarked on the 24th, so no immigration. We had an 11 am flight, which I was slighty nervous about We were in group 1, off the ship and at LAX by 9:10. The taxis were not plentiful when we disembarked shortly after 8. Luckily we pre booked a private shuttle, There was no traffic but once at the airport there seemed to be long lines. Even with TSA precheck I would not risk a 10am flight.
  8. Different island but, thereโ€™s a Walmart shuttle in Hilo.
  9. How long are you in Kauai? Have you looked at a one day car rental? Port Allen would be a pricey Uber ride. We've done Holoholo from Port Allen a couple of times and always had a good time.
  10. There are several options for tours in Lahaina perhaps you wont need to go to Whalers village.
  11. So glad we finally met and had some time to chat. Hope youโ€™re enjoying this leg of the cruise.
  12. I don't know why I omitted that. $85 plus gratuity for the 2 of us.
  13. Unfortunately a little research would have shown that you could have done a proctored test using your free test kits. There is a thread going about On Point testing. Sounds like you are doing the Canada and NE cruise, one of my favorite itineraries, enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š
  14. We recently used Midwilshuttle from San Pedro to LAX. I imagine they also pick up at LAX. It was a shuttle van large enough for 4-6 we booked a private transfer. It was $85 to the airport. They were on time and very responsive. https://www.midwilshuttle.com
  15. We recently used Midwilshuttle for San Pedro to LAX. Our cost for 2 was $85 plus gratuity. Van could accommodate 4-6 adults. It was a Saturday so traffic was light but time from when we advised we were curbside to drop off at Terminal 3 was approx 35 minutes. Taxi line was long.
  16. Just off Celebrity Solstice this morning at Berth 93. I booked an 11:25 am flight from LAX which was changed to 11:10am I was second guessing how wise it was to not change to a later flight. I am so glad we didn't. We did not carry our bags off the ship, we disembarked at 8:15am and were curbside by 8:30. Midwilshuttle (who I highly recommend) picked us up in a shuttle van that could seat 6. It was less than 30 minutes from pick up to drop off outside terminal 3 at LAX. Perhaps the stars were aligned or the fact that it is Saturday but this was one of the easiest transfers weโ€™ve had. The driver commented that it was typical weekend traffic. At the early time we disembarked the only line outside the cruise terminal seemed to be for a taxi. Maybe they all were at the large Princess ship.
  17. Disembarkation this morning at Berth 93 was quite easy. We left the ship at 8:15 (groups 1,2 3) had our bags and were curbside by 8:30, the only line seemed to be for taxis. Made it to LAX by shortly after 9am. Highly recommend Midwil shuttle if you need transportation.
  18. I thought it sounded too good to be true ๐Ÿ˜†
  19. Flying to YVR this week. Are you saying that if we are randomly selected upon arrival for a Covid test, we can just show the negative test that we are using to board the ship? If so, who would we show it to?
  20. Sept 16 cruise is from Vancouver to Los Angeles. It was switched from Millennium to Solstice.
  21. We were able to check in for our 9/16 Solstice cruise approx 45 days out. We were not able to select a boarding time until 2-3 weeks ahead of time.
  22. We are at a hotel and asked to have maintenance come change our AC filters, the response โ€œwe will send engineering right upโ€ And, happy for the PRH title being gone, to me when someone โ€œhostsโ€ you, they pay ๐Ÿ˜‚
