  1. We flew SFO to YVR in April and were asked for the QR code when we checked in for our flight at SFO.
  2. There is speculation on our roll call - Solstice from Vancouver to LA that the ship will be in International waters prior to Victoria (so the casino can open) and that would trigger a 2nd ArrivCan. I imagine people will enter this 2nd trip just incase 🤔 Im fairly confident from the helpful folks here that it is not required. Our itinerary is Vancouver, Victoria then US
  3. Really 😊 no suggestions for a car service from San Pedro to LAX
  4. Our first cruise was on Horizon in 1998, we were also lucky enough to cruise in one of her balcony cabins before she was sold. Thanks for posting 😔
  5. Last I checked the OP arrives on a Sat. I merely offered KoOlina as a suggestion away from the touristy Waikiki. btw was in Petaluma last weekend for the Petaluma gap wind to wine festival 😁
  6. You’re right about commute traffic. However, I have done the drive at least 10 times from Ko'olina to Waikiki for dinner and have always had issues with traffic. You’re a very helpful contributor, much more a active then I am. If my input based on experience differs from you it doesn't make it any less valuable or wrong.
  7. That has not been my experience unless traveling to Waikiki after 2-3pm A previous poster mentioned the Chiefs Luau so thats why I suggested staying in that area. For a point of reference, currently google maps shows 30 min and 13 miles to PH from Waikiki and 23 min/17 miles from KoOlina.
  8. @Moose12345 we did this itinerary in April. Celebrity does run tenders all night. Less frequently as guests have returned to the ship, i want to say it was every 30-45 min overnight or as needed.
  9. In the Kapolei area there is the KoOlina resort. There’s a Marriott timeshare which you can rent by the night, Four Seasons hotel, Disney resort (available on Costco travel) as well as VRBO. We like the location, easy enough to go to Waikiki for a day, Pearl Harbor, Northshore. Calm lagoons for swimming. Waikiki is great if you like a city vibe, we stay there for a night or 2 post cruise but otherwise prefer a more relaxing environment.
  10. We are on the same cruise, I am under the impression we do not need the 2nd ArriveCan for Victoria as we will already be in Canada.
  11. I’ve seen Lansky Limo mentioned, any other recommendations for post cruise car/limo service? I know Uber and taxi are options as well…TIA
  12. Since restart after Covid they do for the most part check your boarding time.
  13. I don't see a downside to doing it within 2 days and then you’re covered.
  14. Thanks! Last I checked Canada was not part of the US 🤨 I know a test is required when boarding a ship in Canada, so thats what I’ll do.
  15. I did not see a section on the website for cruises departing from Canada.
  16. Correct, not a tiki bar..just tropical and as the other poster has pointed out, part of a chain.
  17. @CruisinKikster on Kauai within walking distance of the ship (if no mobility issues) is Dukes. Decent view, tropical vibes and good food. Wherever you decide to go, check to see if you need a reservation, even for bar seating. Def book HWAK several weeks ahead of time.
  18. Went to the Tonga Room when they reopened last year, it was fun but you pay for the experience, food and drinks were mediocre at best! House Without a Key never disappoints, but I do miss the dish of potato chips with my mai tai.
  19. You’re welcome, i love a good mai tai and I had not come across this. Or maybe I just prefer a strong mai tai that doesn’t have a bunch of fruit juice or god forbid, grenadine 😂 I've been to Oahu 2 times since things opened up and was disappointed La Mariana wasn’t open, never been there.
  20. I just came across this. https://thetikichick.com/tiki-bars-in-hawaii/
  21. All the times I have been there, I did not know that. I always hear “its off the square”. I will never make that mistake again after being so politely corrected. 🙂
  22. If I recall the 72 hours is from when you arrive in Canada. Try on the 17th and if its more than 72 hours, it just wont let you proceed.
  23. When we did this in April there was Lei making, ukulele lessons, hula classes as well as Beyond the Podium speakers.
