Ask on a board like this, and you will get numerous answers. But go to RCCL and they will tell you exactly what you need, and than go to your airlines and they will tell you also. Than come back here and see how many wrong answers

The government requires certain taxes to be paid, and on many international trips, a sales tax and a VAT tax, and let's not forget if you go over your limit, you have to pay a duty. Just because it is required does not mean the government or insurance needs to pay for it.

Just don't forget, travel is a luxury item, and the testing is not medical.

Well, my wife uses a travel mobility scooter, obviously not the same thing, but we traveled all over the world with it. Is it comfortable? No. Can it be bumpy? Yes. Are sidewalks sometimes complicated - narrow and with obstructions? Yes. But it is not really different with steollers, but you might reconsider a double wide, and each push one. Sometimes, I need to give my wife a "boost" going up some areas, but again, it is just the way it is. Enjoy your trip, don't be afraid, get something light weight, and in the worst case, you might have to carry short distances but most likely not.

In that case, why does it matter what the capacity is? If are afraid, than the capacity does not matter, it is best not to book.

Well, first, you said how to find a double stroller? Just like all vacations, you need to bring your own supplies, so it's time to go shopping and pick items that will work for you. It is part of the cost of doing vacations. By my second vacation, I was using umbrella strollers and leaving the big one behind. An umbrella stroller is easy to manage on tours.....a wheelchair is not, so that is why they tell you about mobility devises. A stroller is nothing like a mobility device. You are never going to find the perfect remedy to your specific needs, but whenever possible, you should try to do things on your own, or with a taxi, etc just because it might also make it easier than trying to do things with big crowds. It might be more enjoyable for you, and having less stress.

Well, we have our own travel scooter and is used everyplace and has traveled around the world, so I can't help you. However you you say "lugg" your own scooter through an airport? Don't you drive it? Do you have a scooter? I don't understand why you can't bring it. You aren't clear on exactly what some of your statements mean. In order to rent a scooter on the ship, a company must be available. It is not the cruise line that rents them. I tell all "disabled" travelers that if you are not willing to make sacrifices and/or adapt to the different countries, than traveling is not for you. Buy your own travel scooter, and enjoy life. Plus, you should post this on the disability board

The main reason it would not be allowed, is they would wonder why you need a baby monitor? The fear is that you plan on leaving a kid alone, when they should not be alone.

For my entire life until the last two years, if you were sick you went to the doctor, and they administered the test, or ordered the test. I firmly believe the nonsense of getting a test for free because you want to travel is a waste of taxpayer money. Travel is a luxury, and the test is part of the cost of traveling. Now, I'm not saying I did not get free tests in the past, because it is available, just saying, it should not be the case. Also, you don't need a test to travel now except for a cruise. Testing is like port charges, taxes and tips. It is part of the trip. Hopefully soon it will be gone but that would require more small countries to stop it.

Yes, it is not their responsibility if you get sick, and can't prove where you got sick

I always thing that once off the ship, you are on your own. I don't even understand why the ship would be responsible for you or your expenses.

Sounds like you booked a cruise, and had FCC to use. It sounds like they paid off your cruise 100%. You now have some left over FCC. You also have a balance. Port charges and taxes are not cruise fare, but are separate line items, and they can not be used for FCC. Look at your receipt, and see what the port charges and taxes are. If it matches, than you know for sure, you need to pay the $187.00. It can be frustrating to understand all these rules but it does sound like you most likely need to pay it. Any left over FCC can go to the next cruise.
