  1. Where did you find this?? On the website??
  2. It is a very manual process now, but apparently they are working to improve the booking system. Even TAs have to phone in to get pricing, or to book, rather than being able to book online. From what we have been able to see "Request a Quote" does mean there is inventory available.
  3. Don't know about the asterisk, but the "From" is pretty standard. It means the posted price is the lowest priced room available in a particular category. Back in "olden times" every room in a category was the same price, now the price within a category varies by room location on the ship, with midship/high deck being more expensive than forward on a lower deck.
  4. Lucky you! We spent 33 nights (three segments) on Moon in February/March and the Formal/Informal dresscode was enforced on 23 of them, including every sea day and two of the three last nights. Don't misunderstand, I have no problem with dressing up, but 23 of 33 is just a bit ridiculous! We don't cruise to play Dress-Up every night!
  5. The ridiculous dresscode on SS and the belligerent way it is enforced is all the difference most people would need.
  6. But it is how that space is used. We spent 12 nights on Seabourn Ovation in June in a standard suite. It was laid out identically to an Old Crystal standard balcony room, but a little longer, though not much wider. It was impossible for us to pass ecah other at the end of the bed, the walk-in closet was rather small, and the door opened out into the hallway to both the room door and the bathroom door. We really liked the ship overall, but the room design left more than a little bit to be desired.
  7. And we expect a long and detailled review!!!!!😁😁😁
  8. Port Charges and Taxes are now reported as "Destination Fees", what used to be called "Port, Security & Handling Fees" in the old system.
  9. Fair enough. but I am waiting for someone to ask him what brand of toilet paper is in the public restrooms!!! 😁😁
  10. With all due respect, people, you might want to remember that Keith is on vacation and maybe stop peppering him with inane questions!! Ask youself, "Does it really matter?"
  11. Stayed there before a (GASP!!) Oceania cruise in 2018 and it is very nice. Lots of nice restaurants up and down the boulevard, plus a nice one in-house. Also a short walk to "downtown".
  12. And whatever name they choose, two years later, Royal Caribbean will "steal it" for the "next" Iconic Class (or whatever they call the next monstrosity) ship!!😁
  13. Crystal Finally?? Crystal About Time??? Crystal Better Late Than Never??? 😁😁😁 Happy to hear the news of the new ships, but after so many "false starts/hopes" with the previous owners, I will remain sceptical until they finally cut steel and lay the keel.
  14. Hmmmmm! I suspect if you have/had multiple claims with Moecker, it would be one cert for each, but I don't know. We only had one, so it was fairly straightforward. You will likely need to contact Crystal to sort it out.
  15. If you mean as in one for you and one for a spouse, they can be combined into a single certificate.
  16. One caveat to that for the OP. A back-to-back, or even, apparently the World Cruise, counts as ONE cruise for purposes of the EI. On a B2B you cannot apply a credit to each cruise within the B2B.
  17. I will reserve judgement until we see the space in person in six weeks, but I find the pictures of The Lounge a little underwhelming.
  18. Roy, the Autralian/NZ ETA, as I supsect the Europe ETIAS, will be attached to your passport record. Once the passport is scanned, the record will appear. More importantly, it will be scanned when you check in for your flights. No ETA/ETIAS, no boarding the flight to get there!
  19. "Pink" is a she, and while I could not pick one of her songs out of a "police line up", she does have a very good voice. Adele, on the other hand, I could take or leave. I think she gets into relationships just so she can break up and have material for her next whiney song!! (My, how "off topic" this one has gone!!!😁)
  20. The best description I have heard of Taylor Swift's lyrics was along the lines of "they sound like she is singing the lines from her diary back when she was 16 or 17 years old."😁
  21. I can vouch for this. We recently did 11 nights on Seabourn Ovation in Iceland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark and used credit cards everywhere without question. We took a few English Pounds that we had on hand, used for a tip to the tour guide. Since we had nothing planned for Oslo we took some Norwegian Kroner, and the only time I used it, the person at the cash had to cancel and re-enter the transaction as she assumed it would be a credit card. Finally, in Sweden our guide told us if we had cash, to put it away as no one would accept it!
  22. I don't think that is new. On our one and only WC booking, the be-knighted 2020 Covid-shortened one, we did not pay cover charges and extra visits were on a space-available basis, Of course, after we left Sydney with only 200 guests, space was always available!!!😁😁😁
  23. Actually, if you read it, what it says are "suggestions" for Resort Casual. The only jacket "requirement" seems to be the "dark-wash jeans", which strikes me as odd, but since I don't a pair of jeans of any kind.....
  24. This strikes me as a pretty insignificant hill for Crystal to take a hard stand on. As with most things, I suspect this will turn into "much ado about nothing."
