  1. I was on Wonder in September of this year and had a good time. I agree with you about missing Royal's older Broadway shows. Although I didn't write a review of my cruise, I did summarize what I thought were pros/cons regarding Wonder compared to the other 4 Oasis ships I've been on. See link below:
  2. September in the Mediterranean, not so much. Maybe they've decided to crank up the AC since moving to the Caribbean?
  3. Not unless they're trying to grow some geraniums while on board. Otherwise, the Wonder solarium is too hot and humid with no fresh air. At best, I would put it at #4 slightly above Harmony (and yes, I've been on all five Oasis ships).
  4. Absolutely not the Wonder unless you like sitting inside a greenhouse.. the temperature was always kept way too hot when I was on it. Harmony also wasn't great because the pool was removed for some strange reason. You have seen the best with the Symphony.
  5. As they should be. I was on Wonder in September and wore shorts each night in the MDR except on formal night, where I wore jeans to "dress up", but it wasn't really necessary, based on what others were wearing. I'm very glad to see that Royal has relaxed their dress code... you're on vacation and should be able to dress how you want (within reason). Now, over on the Celebrity forum, they will run you off the ship with pitch forks for even suggesting wearing shorts to dinner. 😄
  6. That was one of the few things I didn't like about Wonder. It always felt warm and stuffy in the Solarium, compared to the pool deck, where there is always a breeze when the ship is moving. Much prefer the open air Solarium design on the older Oasis ships.
  7. Note to self. Never book a cruise over Thanksgiving.
  8. The price of the soda package is already outrageous compared to what it costs RCI. At least, the old style tumbler was a decent cup in terms of keeping the drink cold when you were at the pool. That's what I received as late as September this year on Wonder. If they are going to cheap out now on providing even those, might be time to re-think that soda package.
  9. Two people posted photos of the dress code signs on here. Who goes on vacation and does that? Oh right, CC readers who are more interested in what rules people are following or not. Yes I like RCI, for the very reason they have relaxed their dress code so that no one is made to feel uncomfortable in their wardrobe choices. I have two cruises booked with Celebrity in the next year and worry that won’t be the case.
  10. Not at all. Just proving my point about how anyone new to Celebrity is a nervous wreck about what they should be wearing on their first cruise after reading this forum. No other cruise line topic on CC seems to have as many fashion police comments as Celebrity.
  11. Yet another dress code thread just in time for Christmas. Allows all the Celebrity Grinches out there to tell other people how they should be dressing, so they can feel superior one last time in 2022.
