A couple employees were talking about how their children were not allowed outside for recess today and others are moving their graduations indoors. I find it ironic that during Covid we were told to masks while indoors now they recommend we wear them outside. 🙃

Same here. We were all clear this morning when I left for work at 7:30 then around noon someone leaving for lunch couldn't believe how smokey it was with a yellow / orangey haze. We just grilled dinner and definitely did not want to eat on the patio with how smokey it is. I feel really bad for all the people that are directly impacted by these fires. Hopefully they will get under control soon. I am sure the firefighters are exhausted and ready for a break too.

I'm the same. I hate schedules while on vacation. Book it when available and if your a no show they will give your spot to someone else.

August will be mostly families cruising so reserve as early as you can. We had over 2000 kids on our last August Oasis sailing. Book aqua theater as that filled up fast.

Good point. The soot is kinda like the soot from smoke stacks on cruise ships. Tough to wash out of clothing.

We had an older style block of Anthem and got a new Anthem block in April. I always found the older style hard to see the print and not much point in displaying unless someone was actually up close to read it. The new blocks display better, IMO. But I'm still undecided which I like better.

The winds definitely changed here in Southeastern PA in the last couple of hours. No smoke when I left work at 4:30. Walked outside at 6:30 to water my garden and couldn't believe how much smoke and odor of burning wood there was in the air. We have never had smoke from NJ wildfires so I have to think this is from Canada.

What time of the year do you want to sail? There are various ships sailing out of Cape Liberty, NJ or Baltimore, if you don't want to fly to FL or another state.

Can you fly in on Saturday instead of Sunday? If yes, May want to check out hotel availability or will a2s take care of that if only option is to fly in early?

Yup, same weather here. We are expecting 95 f today then drop to a high of 70 tomorrow. Which works for us as long as it's sunny so we can finish up mulching our back yard flower beds.
