We have had at least 2 large balconies on Anthem and found them to be too deep and dark. I prefer a wider cabin than a deep dark tunnel like balcony.

LOS Cape Liberty check in arrival
Sunshine3601 replied to ChristieNJ's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We have sailed out of Cape Liberty several times and check in time was Not checked since Spring of 2022. Our last sailing was end of March and no one was checking then either. The line up of cars getting to the pier can take a while. We have sat in this line up for 30 to 45 minutes depending on the time of day. So if your Daughter is in a time crunch you might plan on getting to the dock somewhere around 10 am and hopefully avoid the traffic. Worst case you may end up sitting in the cruise terminal waiting for passengers to be allowed to board the ship. Hope you Have a Great Cruise😃 -
We pressure wash every Spring. The surface cleaner we bought last year works great to avoid removal of sand/grout. I think it was 2020 when we last re-applied polymer sand. Definitely does make a big difference on weeds or moss issues. It is fairly easy to re-apply the sand. Just make sure you have swept off and lightly leaf blow sand off pavers otherwise the pavers get a gritty feel. I forgot why we did not seal them. Probably something we should look into and probably can do ourselves.

As soon as you board go to the MDR and ask if late seating is available or you can try to email rcldining when your sailing is within 2 or 3 weeks out. -

Thankful for the beautiful weather we are having this weekend. Looks like tomorrow will be another good one. @Ozark_Kid My vegetable garden is all planted. I have to set up the stakes tomorrow. I planted about 3 weeks later than last year but last year I ended up having to replace a couple of plants due to an early May frost. We should be all clear of frost now. I bet your plants are thriving, especially since you have Kenzie giving them lots of smiles and lots of love 🥰 Yesterday Eric and I power washed the house and used the surface cleaner on our patio pavers. Then we used the full pressure to remove some of the grout/sand as it was getting yucky. This morning we put down 24 bags of mulch and have another 12 to go. It sure is nice having a SUV this Spring to pick up the mulch from Lowes. They have Scott's perfect color on sale for $2/bag this weekend. We find using the bags so much easier than getting mulch dumped into the driveway as that always seems like a never ending pile. Of course the easier route would have to been to hire someone but I enjoy gardening. Although my feet and back are a bit sore tonight. Time for another Mojito. We grilled some nice thick filet mignons, baked potatoes and corn on cob for dinner. Eric grilled the filet's perfect. Sorry no food porn. I forgot to sneak a photo before we began eating. Eric is not a fan of me taking photos of food. This afternoon Eric did half then I did the other half of re-applying new polymeric sand for the pavers. Looks great but we have to wait 24 hours before we can put patio furniture back in place. Then I can plant my flower pots for the patio. I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend. Tomorrow I will honor my Father for his service in the Korean War. Thank you everyone past and present for their service in the Military.

That is excellent that you both still connect by phone and are able to share and laugh about past and present events. On a sad note, I lost my Bestie, Maureen, to breast cancer a few years ago. I dearly miss her. We met in kindergarten. We had the type of relationship where we could pick up the phone or see each other as if no time had lapsed between our meetings. Growing up in same neighborhood through high school we were known as the "kiddy hour" by some of the older boys because we were always giggling. We giggled up till the day she passed. I do not mean to turn your happy post into a sad one. Just a thankful one for all the special people in our lives 💖

More Pricing Shenanigans
Sunshine3601 replied to SafetyHarbor's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I would call about the UDP, especially if you already cancelled your plan. Cruise fare, sale no sale not a surprise. We have seen this many times. -
Renting a scooter in Bayonne
Sunshine3601 replied to elizabethbp's topic in Royal Caribbean International
In the recent past we rented a scooter for my DH on a sailing out-of bayonne. We found specialneedsatsea to have the best pricing. Scooter is delivered to your cabin. They can provide wheelchair assistance at the port if needed to get on the ship. -
