Stroller Wagon suggestions for Wonder
Sunshine3601 replied to mirage2u's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I understand your need just not sure you will find a small wagon that will also work on a beach. Majority of wagons I have seen on cruises are rather large with narrow wheels that wouldn't work in sand. Good luck in your search. -
We were also unhappy with food on Oasis in September. We love other WJs for breakfast and lunch but not that sailing. Solarium bistro wasn't all that good either. Heard stories of several people getting sick off food from the bistro. That cruise was our worst sailing with Royal for several reasons, but we still enjoyed being on a ship at sea with perfect weather and had several nice dinners in MDR (weren't too happy with dinner in CK either) 😀

That is a nice area and was my go to area almost every day when on Oasis last September.

Can royal genie set up a cocktail party for 30?

Do you have a TA booking the cabins for the group? Maybe they can get in touch with catering to get you an idea of pricing options. -
I believe it happens a lot more than we know. Most people figure it is just a cold and not going to let it ruin their vacation.

if you show up at different times with MTD then how do you know your table is ready and waiting for you? -

If you want to change to MTD and not call them you can email: rcldining@rccl.com -
"Not a flex dining guest"?
Sunshine3601 replied to SeattleAl's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Totally disagree. We love having traditional dining and not having to stand in any line. every time I see people standing in the MTD line I am so glad not to be one of them. we can just walk right up to our table and seat ourselves at our selected time and have the same waitstaff every night. -
In the recent past we have booked a cruise ahead of time with next cruise desk and paid $200 deposit for 2 adults for 7 night cruise then converted to our annual prime freebie, when it became available. The $200 deposit we paid was then applied to our room upgrade from the interior prime freebie to a balcony cabin. This way we got the cabin we wanted instead of waiting until mid April and finding out our preferred deck / cabin location was gone. The certificate you received from casino while onboard can be booked through next cruise desk as they usually offer some type of bonus (such as freeplay) stated on the certificate if you book while onboard.

We have Not been asked to mask since last March, testing requirement stopped last September for cruises out of the US (except Colombia may still require, not sure about that port). Different rules apply for TA & TP crossings. They stopped asking for proof of vaccination for US sailings last summer, might have been August. Smaller ships such as radiance class typically do not require reservations for entertainment. Seems to be Oasis Class and maybe some shows on Quantum class that require reservations. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/will-i-have-to-take-a-test-before-i-cruise

We use this type. https://www.amazon.com/Orion-Motor-Tech-Multipurpose-Motorcycles/dp/B08LLFQNNJ/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=trickle+charger&qid=1674259047&sr=8-8 Amazon has a big selection with higher priced ones that do other stuff, but we just use the basic trickler/tender for our cars and riding mower. Simply hook up to your car battery and plug in the other end to a standard wall outlet. The basic concept is the unit will send a trickle charge to the battery periodically to make sure you don't end up with a dead battery

Park Cafe Potato Chips
Sunshine3601 replied to Slidell_Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I think Anthem has been doing that for a while. I don't remember seeing them last winter either but they had them if asked. -
On Anthem smoking is port side on pool deck but starboard side on deck 5 where the little bus station is located.

How long have passport renewals been taking?
Sunshine3601 replied to JHawk63's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
Same here. We paid the extra fee and mine came in about 2 weeks, DH's was a couple days later. -
I think it is starboard side on all ships except Oasis Class is port side.
