I watched BD Med from Monday night last night. The sacking of Raygan was uneventful, pretty much how she was a bosun. I feel bad for both Dave and Natasha. He really should have backed off. The things he said to her were uncalled for but she also misled him. She was basically throwing herself at him in the beginning. Do we think the new deckhand will be Malia?

I personally have never done this nor would I fo this but a woman on a recent cruise had brought to WJ some leftover filet mignon and ask for them to slice up and reheat on griddle top so her husband could have steak and eggs for dinner. No hesitation by the cook, they did as she asked and it looked great!

Yup, that's the one. We have done this itinerary numerous times but always nice being a 2 hr or less drive to port and trying out Oasis for first time and watching her go under the verazzano bridge with stacks lowered.

I have stored wine in fridge on older ships and was always cold enough.

There is lobster tail night in MDR usually the last formal night of a 7 night cruise. Taking a tail back to your cabin may work if fridge gets cold enough to store it overnight. Then take to WJ or MDR and ask for them to heat up on grill with their eggs benedict.

8.28 7 night sailing from cape liberty to bahamas and PC. I've been on Oasis class before, and your fav Allure, but will be first time on Oasis.😀

The extra space in JS is nice. Extra wide balcony with double windows is also nice. Full tub / shower nice! Dinner at CK. Walk in closet for most. Some JS have full bath with a separate powder room/toilet, depending on ship. I know Anthem has them. I think they are J4s vs J3s. And double points😃 We only get when price is right. We are mid ship deck 9 for our Oasis sailing. I tried for deck 8 for easy access to CP but all JS were gone when we booked a couple months ago.

I printed my setsail pass and luggage tags today and noticed it does not say suite, we have a JS for our Oasis sailing. ??

Sorry to hear you are not having success with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, etc. This is my first year doing Amish paste. In the past I grew roma tomatoes that were used for our spaghetti sauces and stewed tomatoes that I freeze and store. I have been known to throw in a couple of other kinds of tomatoes chopped up into the sauces depending on what I have picked and ready to go. I will have to try cutting out the hard stem area and putting into my blender or food processor as it is time consuming to peel them. I would love to skip that step, if possible. One of our Son's is coming over tonight to visit, grill some burgers and pick up some homegrown produce. I set a big pile of items for him to take home. 😃

The break of his sacrum happened almost 4 weeks ago. Doc said 6 to 8 weeks for bone to heal. His biggest problem has been laying in a flat position in bed and getting up. Sleeping in recliner makes it much easier to get up. That has been improving and I am hoping if he can get some PT in before the cruise that will help. No plans of cancelling the cruise. The cruise gives him a goal to get moving! We have a JS and I am thinking of renting him a scooter incase walking the ship is too much for him. He tells me No, he doesn't want one but I may go ahead and order to have in room just incase.

I'm watching season 1 of below deck down under. Tonight is season 7, ep. 5 of below deck med. I think season 9 of regular below deck is the most recent. When done that you can hope to BD med or BD down under

I can understand contractors not wanting to work outdoors in this heat. If that's the case they should let you know. Communication is key! Eric is feeling better and moving around much easier. He goes back n forth from bed to recliner in the middle of night. Next Monday he goes back to ortho doc for xrays and find out if ready to do some PT. I am loving my new job. Settling in nicely.
