MTD starting at 6:45 seems to be the norm. Although you will see long lines starting to form way before 6:45 as those diners are hoping they can be seated earlier. You may just want to wait until your onboard before you make the switch to MTD. Just explain to the head waiter or matre'dD and hopefully they can accommodate you. I have found Head Waiter (not the waiters of your table but the Head Waiter that wonders around and stops by every table to make sure everything is okay) to be very helpful.

LIVE!!! ICON OF THE SEAS INAUGURAL

Hi John and Sharon, So happy to hear you are both enjoying your cruise. Your cabin looks great with some nice features. Size of a JS? Look forward to more photos, if you have time. Based on what I see on the mainland on the app you will have 2 lobster nights. Tonight and night 6. Enjoy🥰 -
Prices vary based on ship and length of the sailing. short cruises always seem to have higher priced drink packages. "Sales" may happen again around Easter, just never know if it will be better or higher. Figure out how much you will drink a day based on your port stops, etc at the current price for your sailing you may be better off paying per drink.

Only 1 point for early cruises?
Sunshine3601 replied to sarahsentry's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I think it was somewhere around 2010 when they changed the way points were earned to 1 point for every night (unless in a suite). cruises prior to date of change earned 1 point per cruise. -
Definitely ask the head waiter or maitre'D on night 1 if they can accommodate or if you will have to make other diner plans for that evening.

Any free internet/wifi on Oasis?
Sunshine3601 replied to sarahsentry's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You definitely can get free wifi in Nassau Bahamas. If you walk along town there are several places that have signs saying free interent (Dunkin Donuts & McDonalds are 2 of them). You might even get free wifi at their new Welcome Center at end of the pier. CocoCay - No free wifi Labadee - 99.9% sure No free wifi Jamaica - if docking at Falmouth you should be able to find free wifi at the cruise port or you may find a cafe / bar offering for a nominal fee. -
Any free internet/wifi on Oasis?
Sunshine3601 replied to sarahsentry's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Definitely no Free internet onboard unless you are Diamond or higher and then can free 24 hours or more depending on your status. You can usually get free internet at ports to check your email, etc. The crew tend to hang out at places where they can get free internet when on break from the ship. What is your itinerary? -

Thanks Renee. Hope you and Mike are enjoying! Did you find any MF purses for sale? That is a lot of D and up onboard. I guess the crown lounge will be a busy place. -
+1 we never bother doing our photos pre-cruise. Plus I'm not good at doing selfies

Every Anthem cruise I have been on has a kettle in the cabin. Maybe bring your own instant coffee to make in cabin or you can order free continental breakfast with coffee, no room service fee.

Are those chairs moveable? If not, they sit rather close to each other. Are they easy to get in and out of? -

I'm watching the port webcam now. Bon Voyage!! And you get fireworks for your send off. Awesome! Wonder what Rover thinks of all this, must be an overwhelming day for him. -
3 Night Dining Package. How does this work?
Sunshine3601 replied to barric's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Most likely auto picked Chops. When you board go to one of the specialty restaurants and make your reservations. You can book all 3 nights for 3 different restaurants at the one place. -
Try this link https://www.archinsurancesolutions.com/coverage/Royal Go towards the bottom where it says departures after 1.01.24. Click on his state and download the policy for details.

3 Night Dining Package. How does this work?
Sunshine3601 replied to barric's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The cost for Anthem in March is $132. The options would be Chops, Jamie's Italian, Wonderland or Izumi. Not sure if Johnny Rockets express would be included in $20 off option, but best value is to use for other restaurants. And you get 40% off a bottle of wine that costs under $100.
