What comes with the Lavazza machine in your cabin?
Sunshine3601 replied to Valen9's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Anthem has the kettles in every cabin we have stayed in but they do the sailings out of Southampton, UK for several months a year so I guess they just leave them for the winter sailings out of NJ. -
Good Morning Everyone, We have a gorgeous morning here now that humidity has lifted, for a couple of days hopefully. Thank you for all your kind words for us and Mike's family. As @HBE4 said it is a blessing. His family feels the same. Seeing him suffer and stuck in limbo for over 2 yrs took a toll on them. Our wonderful memories of many fun times will live on 💞 Thank you and Have a Great Day enjoying life❣️

You can ask for a kettle, if not there. -

That itinerary looks decent, better than nothing! Glad to see they are giving Bermudians time to recover from Cat 2 Franklin passing by and whatever comes from Idalia. They are very resilient islanders and have good systems in place but will still take time to unboard and open back up. Hope you have a great cruise with perfect weather and smooth seas. -

Overall looks like a nice itinerary, better than missing Bermuda all together. Hope you have a great cruise with smooth seas. -
Hideaway Beach -Coco Cay- any updates?
Sunshine3601 replied to elizabethbp's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Icon may have the island for a day to itself on the inaugural sailing or first couple of visits to CocoCay but I have not heard that the new adult only beach area will be for Icon passengers only. -
We received news that a very good friend of ours, Mike, passed away. He was a young 55 yrs old. Some of you may recall in 2021 I spoke of him having a massive stroke and being in a coma for 2+ months. After many tests performed by local hospital and Jefferson Hospital in center city Philadelphia they determined he had no brain activity and would probably never wake up again so his family put him into hospice at the local hospital. After removing him from various meds approx. 10 days later he woke and said he was starving. The last photos I have of him is him laughing and cracking jokes in the hospital after waking up from his coma. At that time, he had full movement of his arms and legs and was speaking rather well. Everyone at the hospital including his family was shocked to see him rebound. He then began physical therapy and was doing good. But he then had several seizures and mini strokes over the next couple of months that made it so he could never walk again and had very poor speech. He has been living the last 2+ years at a assisting living facility and absolutely hated it. As time went on he became very uninterested in everything (no longer watched football or baseball which was Not like him at all). He was severely depressed and didn't want to live like that. It was very sad to see the once lively laughing jokester Mike like this. I met him 40 yrs ago in high school and after graduating we didn't see each until we were in our late 20's. Wen we reconnected him and Eric became Best Friends. They went fishing together all the time, watched sports together, joined a dart league at a local bar and enjoyed doing that every week for several years (both played darts very well). We are heartbroken that he has passed but also happy that he is no longer suffering and miserable. We hope that he has met up with his baby boy that had passed away suddenly as a toddler 20+ yrs ago. May Mike RIP❤️

Excellent news on the casino offer/booking! and Congratulations on the $1200 win too! Most people think you have to spend lots of time and money in the casino to get these free offers, but the truth is you really don't have to. Sad to say we have 4 offers recently emailed to us and we are unable to use any of the free balcony offers due to scheduling issues. Hoping that we both get casino certificates when we sail on Serenade in September. A lot of times we combine our offers to upgrade our cabin. I am really looking forward to hearing about your upcoming Med cruise. 😃

Choice is your Casino Royale level. It is the first level of the casino tiers. -
Yes 20% + down does help. Avoiding MI is always the way to go but most first timers don't have the money to put that much down. The main factors involved in calculating someone's mortgage rate are Credit score, down payment amt and loan amount. I guess after working 25 years in the mortgage business is stuck with me even though I got out of it last summer. And Eric retired this summer after almost 40 yrs in the mortgage biz. Congrats to your Daughter on her new home purchase. 😃 Our Son gave up searching for a home for now. They made offers on more than a dozen homes and kept getting outbid and were getting too frustrated.
