Was it just as bad even though you had an NCL excursion? Where did they have you meet? We have a 12:30 PM NCL excursion that we do not want to miss. Any suggestions?

Too funny! We will be in MA 13792 for New Years! Did you like the cabin? My guess is that it will be a full cruise - ours will probably have more children though. We want to try to change some of our dining reservations to a later time. Did you have difficulty booking/changing your reservations at all? This is the first time we are sailing as platinum. Did you get t enjoy your latitudes perks? Sorry for all of the Q's.

Interesting. If we already made reservations for Bistro (February cruise) will they automatically move them to the Catch? Also, if they move Sabatini's will they also move the suite breakfast dining room? 🤔

These photos and Dailies are from a pre-Covid (2018) Christmas cruise. As you can see they offered Mass on Christmas Eve and various Christmas themed events. Santa appeared during dinner as well as during the Christmas Show. Things may have changed since COVID, but I am sure they will offer similar events.

February is our rainy season. Yes, last year was UNSEASONABLY wet and cold. December is usually not too bad. I agree, check the forecast!

We are sailing on the Bliss over New Years (right after you perhaps?) and we bought Vibe passes. December is often nice in SoCal, but you never know. When we get the Santa Ana winds it is hot and sunny. If El Nino strikes early it could be rainy in LA. We live about 40 minutes from the port and have done this cruise over the holidays before. Once we get to Cabo and south the weather should be great. I figure we will have at least 4-5 days of good weather. The worst weather is on that sea day back to LA. Once you pass Cabo it can get cold and overcast.

And can you book it ahead of time on the App?

I agree. I live in LA and would definitely book an RT overnight (or 2) LA to Cabo or RT LA to Hawaii on a Virgin ship!

I vote for a Magic Castle style Magic/Seance with dinner. If you ever have the opportunity to do that, it is unforgettable! Amazing experience.

Now if it like the Los Angeles Magic Castle experience, then it could be fun!

We are doing exactly this on our NYE cruise on the Bliss. Haven prices are high for this cruise plus we are traveling with 14 people. We opted for the "Haven-lite" strategy described by @Sthrngary - Club Balcony suite + Vibe + Free at Sea Plus and we should be good to go! Yes, I will miss the Haven but we would not really use the facilities with our friends in the Gen Pop.

We LOVE to ride the go carts and plan on playing laser tag on the Bliss! Add to the the Premium Plus beverage package for all 16 of us and they make bank!
