  1. Yes, but the wine list in the MDR is very limited in comparison to the choices available at Vines.
  2. And for people with pacemakers that are advised not to use the Medallion?
  3. I think the priority lines for elites, platinums and full suites have gone away to be replaced with Green, Blue and Yellow lines that everyone goes through no matter what their CC status is.
  4. Then you are getting further into the system than I am. When I try to log in, I get a message they are having technical problems and I should try again later.
  5. It has been $50 for several months. The increase now is from $50 to $60. For 2 people on a seven day cruise, that would cost $140 more. These new desserts must be truly fantastic. (The beverages included will be up to $15 with the $60 Plus. Also, the tips are going up by $1.50/day/person. Both of these are covered in the new $60 pricing.)
  6. See, even for someone who has traveled on Princess many times, each voyage is a new adventure full of surprises.
  7. The removal of those items was a reaction to possible spreading of the virus that causes Covid. If you want the pen/pad, just ask your cabin steward or at the Customer Service desk.
  8. The problems that the OP encountered are the reason I book with a human (TA or Princess rep). Less stress and better chance it will be done correctly.
  9. Isn't that a formal evening? If so, what beef item did they remove from the menu for the 1st formal evening?
  10. One extra sea day on the way back from Hawaii to Ensenada.
  11. But as the OP indicated, the elevator was full. One or two people getting off still would not have made enough room for the woman to get on. It is one thing to be sure to allow those with walkers/scooters to get on first when an elevator with room for them arrives. It is another thing to expect a number of people to get off the elevator to make room for them.
  12. I usually would get this E-mail about 5 PM on December 13.
  13. Most people purchase the Plus or Premier package for the alcohol beverage part of it. When the Plus package was first introduced at $40/day/person, that was significantly less than the price of the beverage package by itself. So for those who like the beverage package, the tips and Internet was a bonus, not an incentive. Same was true when the package price went up to $50.day/person, just not as big a savings. And it is true now with the $60/day/person which has the added beverage benefit of including dricks that cost up to $15, not the older limit of $12. For those who do not buy significant amounts of beverages on board (non-alcohol or alcohol), booking the Standard rate and then paying for tips and Internet continues to be the way to go.
  14. The current Princess Plus pricing ends when the new Princess Plus pricing $60/day/person) goes into effect. So if you want Princess plus at the current ($50/day/person), book it now.
  15. If you already booked with a Plus or Premier package, your rate will not change unless you choose to "upgrade" to get the newer "benefits" at the higher pricing. If you already booked with the Plus or Premier package, your gratuity and Wi-Fi are included and there is no change in their pricing for you. If you booked with the Standard rate and have not pre-paid already for gratuity and/or Wi-Fi, then the rates will go up unless you pre-pay for those options by Dec.14. This does not affect when the final payment for your cruise is due.
  16. I agree. But my question is will 100% of the refund be refundable OBC if non-refundable OBC was used it pay for part or all of the excursion.
  17. Maybe they will start showing it on Princess ships.
  18. In the contract: he minimum Guest age to sail is 6 months at the time of embarkation in order to sail. On all other cruises where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days, the minimum Guest age is 12 months at the time of embarkation in order to sail.
  19. If the other person you book the excursion for is Elite, the 10% discount will be put on that person's on board account, not yours even if you did the booking.
