  1. Travel agents are paid to do things like that so you don’t have to do it yourself. I would go through the Travel agent.
  2. They aren’t good about answering email. Best to call them. You can find relevant numbers on Celebrity website

It’s always worth asking the question, and occasionally there have been some reports here on this board of people who received some onboard credit when there was a price drop, but just as often it is a lost cause. It doesn’t matter that you started the booking with Celebrity, because now it belongs to your Travel agent. And by the way, it is against Cruise Critic rules to list your travel agent’s name here, so expect your post to be altered

So, see if I get this—-check out of hotel, leave suitcases there, cab to restaurant, cab back to hotel for luggage, cab to the ship. or, check out of hotel, cab to the ship to leave suitcases, cab to the restaurant, cab back to the ship either way seems like an incredible hassle. Never been to that restaurant but I hope it was worth it.
  12. I got past the black screen this morning to the welcome screen and no further. I have a brand new iPad. No idea why it will not work. I hate to call Celebrity but I guess I will.

  14. There are a couple more things to remember about back to packs. Any onboard credit left over from the first cruise does not transfer to the 2nd cruise. And you might have to take your credit card down to the front desk to re-register it.
  15. Sloppy journalism and certainly an incomplete look at the problem, but it does show that the story is out there —— Celebrity has messed up a lot of peoples plans

  19. That’s a different event….the Captains Club celebration introduces the top cruisers. The soirée is more like the Captain's Toast event. Onlookers line the railings overlooking the atrium and raise their glasses to the Captain and officers
  20. Tell us about yourself. What are you interested in? History, or hiking, or photography or cuisine or shopping or water sports or churches and I am sure there are more options, too

  22. Zeniths don’t pay for drinks and internet no matter what class of stateroom they book, do they?
  23. They were severely short staffed then, too, weren’t they?
