Did the furniture get replaced? I too would have been disappointed in non Freya products! Why do people need a cap inside?

It was a Viking excursion. I will look and see if I can find the name of it. We were on cruise from Bergen to Amsterdam " Viking Shores and Fjords . Meals on excursions are usually a waste of time IMO BUT this was a fantastic meal... great fish in a lovely hotel venue on the water! thinking about Slovenia-Croatia cruise...what cruise line did you use?

on the excursion we took the train one way and bus the other and had a great lunch!!! The train was late getting back ( another train on the track had a problem). The ship waited for us...if you were on another train and independent the ship would not wait. Chances are you will get on the excursion sometimes if there is a lengthy wait list Viking will add another bus or train car.

We really enjoyed this cruise..if you can combine it with the TA even better... we did 4 cruises in a row and had splendid time...it will be even better without ALL the hassle of COVID!!!

I was suggesting that if Mcobean were going BACK to Viet Nam they should considera RIVER Cruise. The Mekong River Cruise was outstanding a separate cruise. sorry for the confusion

I think it is VERY important to buy your trip insurance within the time frame so "pre-existing" conditions are covered. If you plan to buy insurance WHY would you NOT do this? If we have canceled a trip we have been able to move the insurance to another trip but I am not sure that is always possible. We also have insured just the deposit and then increase coverage when paid in full BUT that gives us "pre-existing condition" coverage. It also covers the "pre-existing" conditions of family members whose health may cause us to cancel a trip.

I can't comment on present promotions because our trip was in 2017/2018 BUT there were a number of singles on that cruise and those that I spoke with were having a great time!

We have stayed on Deck 3 again foreward and aft of the 3055/3057 and we enjoyed those rooms, great location. We have been on decks 4 and 5 too but 3 is so convenient! That onboard consultant needs to go to that cabin 3055/57 when the band is playing in Torshavn. We were in 3055 for almost a month on our WC...eventually we were moved and those in 3057 as well.
