I would say 2024 sometime. My thoughts are that wonder will leave Florida in April 2024 do a season in the Mediterranean and come to the Pacific. But it could be earlier there’s going to be 5 oasis and Icon in the Atlantic and another oasis on the way in 2024.

Plus Icon . Captain Loy has been deployed in Sydney for quite a while , I think he was on Radiance and one of the voyager class here not to mention his baby Ovation.

Maybe it’s me but hasn’t someone else picked up the new captain?

That’s the best news,it really makes our coming season viable for the big ships.

Depending on the cruise line and the booking conditions you may be able to get a refund or a credit. Some lines you can cancel 48 hours before and get a refund.

I’m very suspicious about Hendrik Loy being the captain of Wonder. Unless he has been permanently moved to the Atlantic ,we may get our first Oasis in the pacific.

I believe Eden is going to be upgraded but our cruise we where booked on last season it definitely didn’t docked . It you have mobility issues you can still tender I believe but it may be different to what you expect.

I see the captain of Wonder of the seas is Hindrick Loy . Has anyone noticed that ? Has anyone got some speculation on that?

I believe Eden is a tender port with ovation,I was booked on a cruise but it was canceled ,apparently it can’t dock.

I looks like a FCC but it just says ,notify us and we will cancel your booking. I don’t really want any more FCC’s , I’ve lost track of the ones I have with RCG.

Does anyone know,if you test positive before the cruise do you get a refund. I had a bit of a look but it just says they will cancel your cruise.

I was on voyager just before the shutdown and it was in pretty sad condition . I think a ship year round would have to compete with P&O and Carnival. It would have to be family friendly and have something for the kids. How about Adventure of the seas ,we haven’t seen it in the pacific,it’s been updated with the app, waterslide and the later version of voyager class. My money is on Adventure.

As they say things are very fluid. I think they swapped Serenade for Voyager because of a lot of cancellations about the political situation. Hawaii is usually pretty upto date with their bookings.

It looks like there’s 5 Royal Caribbean ships in the eastern Pacific next year passing through Hawaii. Hawaii ports has Enchantment, Quantam and Ovation on their way to Australia in early October 2023. Also has Radiance there in early October ,probably on it’s way back to the Gulf of Mexico. I don’t know but but enchantment ??? RC will be shooting their self in the foot. It isn’t going to attract the international visitors, bring back voyager of the seas it’s in better shape than enchantment.

The vision and radiance class are in demand for ports that are not so accessible.Such as Baltimore,Tampa and New Orleans. I think they would fill a voyager over our winter.With constant temperatures in Texas of 45 degrees we should be a destination for climate refugees. But Royal really needs some new smaller ships ,I can’t understand why they haven’t built something to go through the Panama. Maybe the rumour that Disney corporation has a eye on Royal Caribbean will solve the smaller ship problems. Disney Dream of the seas Disney Wish of the seas Disney Fantasy of the seas Disney Magic of the seas Disney Wonder of the seas may need a name change.

Where does the 7 days come from? Day 1 turn around,2 days at sea, a day in each port ( mystery island overnight to Lelepa) and 2 days at sea back to Brisbane. I wonder if they bring a ship in 2024? Say for winter

I wonder what ship they will deploy,I hope it’s not enchantment,there’s some pretty bad reviews about it. Hopefully a voyager class , Adventure? We haven’t see it in the pacific. Sounds like NZ will be a goer .
