  1. I think I saw 4th quarter this year, so basically same thing. Also not 100% sure.
  2. As mentioned, it works for me, hope you have similar success!
  3. Not sure, I was following my wife. I have no sense of direction, lol. I just know we went for a morning walk after securing our favorite lounger spot and came across a sign for it at the far end of South Beach.
  4. This... as do many threads. No reason to question how or why someone finds a ship too small or too big. Everyone has their own opinions, perspectives, and preferences.
  5. In my experience, always the same comedians and mostly the same routines (but there are always exceptions). Years ago we met one of the comedians in Central Park after seeing his show the night before. We told him we thought he was great and asked if he changed it up a bit b/c we would go back if he did. He seemed to appreciate the compliment and told us he did try to change his act some from night to night. So we went again and he was true to his word. The other comedian, whom we didn't care for much, didn't change a thing.
  6. I've read stories of couples who thought they were the only ones out there and wanted to have "lots of fun." 🙈
  7. This must be something unique to Allure. Hopefully someone who has been on her recently can help.
  8. Yep. Indy didn't feel "too small" to us, just a very noticeable difference if you've sailed almost nothing but Oasis class for years.
  9. Show days/times (including comedy) typically won't show up until you are able to book them. It's kind of a mad scramble to puzzle together what to reserve when if you're trying to see everything and not conflict with anything else (including meals).
  10. We like the helipad for sail away, especially since it's not accessible on Oasis class.
  11. Agree with pretty much everything posted above. Definitely don't worry. You won't know until you try it and ship size is a personal preference thing. If you do feel overwhelmed, just take a step back, don't try to go everywhere and do everything, stick to a handful of locations that suit you and branch out when you feel like it. We loved this class when it was new. After several Oaisis class sailings, it actually felt a bit small to us when we did Independence last July and October but we still had a great time and it was a nice change of pace.
  12. Everyone starts somewhere. We called my BIL "Rust" when he went on his first cruise with our extended family. 🤣
  13. Like an escape room. It's listed under "Onboard Activities" in the CP and can be reserved when show reservations open. It filled up very quickly for our sailing.
  14. That would be my assumption but that's all it is. I have it booked for next week but we are a party of 7 so that doesn't help you much. Sorry.
  15. Love the level headed responses here. The stuff I saw on FB was crazy.
  16. Yep. $9 for a good bacon cheeseburger and garlic parm fries is/was very cheap. I don't really eat fast food but that's probably close to what a big mac and large fries costs. I'll take Playmakers.
  17. Saw this posted on social media the other day. Lots of upset posters of course. TBH, I thought a lot of the food there was oddly underpriced and don't really find most of the new prices to be all that out of line.
  18. If you're familiar with the Love & Marriage game show (a RC staple) you stand a very good chance of participating if you'd be interested. Congrats on the 66th!
  19. Yes, but it has some issues from what I've read. Texting or messaging with another app is much better if they are already purchasing internet.
  20. How would that help the OP who is sailing on RC?
  21. When was this? I was able to just grab times in mid-April for my cruise this Sunday.
  22. Ignore that part about it returning. Completely wrong but too late for me to edit.
  23. You are, of course, correct. I have no idea what I misread when I searched the RC site. I need to stop responding to random threads out of boredom.
  24. You may want to try the Cozumel Port of Call forum.
