  1. That's not true. We walked through it in October. It's all the way at the end of South Beach. It's very short and not really worth it but it's there (maybe it used to be longer, I don't remember it before Perfect Day). We came across a rooster who didn't seem happy to see us, lol.
  2. Yes there are enough chairs. Worth the money is subjective. It's not worth it to me, not even close. I love the included food and free loungers and umbrella in our favorite spot on CocoCay. That said, I was treated to an OTW cabana last year and will have a Beach Club cabana a week from today (my FIL is very generous and they are worth it to him and some other members of my extended family). I can give you a food review of it helps... Everyone thought the filet mignon was excellent, the lobster was OK, and I really enjoyed the coconut crusted lobster sandwich. The apps and desserts were good but nothing stood out to me. I'd say you'd have to place a lot of value on a quieter, semi-private experience along with the food options for it to be worth it. No judgment intended, everyone should spend their money how they see fit, just trying to give you some info based on my experience.
  3. Hold back? No. You can only hope someone cancels. Just keep checking.
  4. Love the food on CocoCay. My go-to's... Snack Shack - chicken sandwich, mozz sticks, funnel cake (a popular hack is to order a plain chicken sandwich and put the mozz sticks & sauce on it for a chicken parm sandwich) Chill Grill/Skipper's Grill - taco bar with freshly made tortillas and all the usual toppings, combining the soft serve ice cream with chocolate chip cookies in a cup (you can make a sandwich but it melts very quickly)
  5. We are also big ship people. We would only sail a smaller ship (below Voyager class) if it was for the ports with plans to spend much of our port days off the ship. As an example, I was fine with Radiance in Alaska b/c we were there to see Alaska for the first time. This is all going to be personal preference, of course.
  6. Also booking shows if on Oasis/Quantum class. Basically it allows any one person to make plans for the group.
  7. By all means, do whatever works best for you but the show schedules are now out 30-60 days before sailing and can be reserved on your own. We did it your way when it was the only option but have since switched back.
  8. My legs (it went from my feet to my calves) blew up like balloons many cruises ago. I was freaked out until I read about it. I have taken Diurex (diuretic/water pills) ever since and that takes care of 90% of the swelling for me. I somehow forgot them on one cruise and spent time in my cabin bed with my feet up on the wall everyday as mentioned above and it worked well enough for me to get through it but not as well as the pills.
  9. Last post b/c I've already stated I don't care and have no need for vouchers that morning. The app considers it a day for those disembarking and in the past you did get new vouchers that morning (I've used them). It's only confusing b/c it's ambiguous based on practice and written policy.
  10. They're waiting for me to get back from my cruise next week, sorry. 😁 E-mail sent btw.
  11. You will receive an e-mail from the suite concierges introducing themselves, giving you info, etc. It has historically usually been 5-6 days before sailing but nothing is set in stone obviously. Just respond to that e-mail with your CK requests (and anything else you want to ask/request).
  12. I've never ordered room service but was considering it next week while I'm in a suite for likely the last time in quite a while (might as well try it for free, plus tip of course). If I do, I'll share somewhere. Still considering a semi-live trip report but don't think I can swing it on an extended family cruise. Would be easier when it's just me and my wife.
  13. We got our concierge e-mail last night for next Sunday on Wonder (a bit early but I'm not complaining). I would hope they'd tell me via e-mail in advance that our request was granted (or if we have to move anything). We asked for a standing reservation at the same time every night (with one exception).
  14. Are you thinking of going on the 1st sailing out of PC? I have my TA putting a hold on it (and the 2nd) but if the price is nuts we won't book it.
  15. Once you move to PC, find a cruise that lines up with one of mine. I won't let any of your food go to waste, promise. D drink on me as a thanks for some sushi. 😁
  16. Do they need a reason? Why would you bother to make such a post?
  17. There should be numbers under the bar code. If you see “GTY” instead of numbers to the right of the dash then you haven’t been assigned a cabin yet & just have to keep checking. The numbers to the right of the dash represent your cabin. One tip off is that if you see a muster station listed on your sea pass then you likely have been assigned your cabin. Hope this helps.
  18. Just b/c one CAN spend their money on something doesn’t mean they want to or should.
  19. Where is the last day defined by RC as the day prior to disembarkation? The app lists disembarkation morning as day 8 on a 7-night cruise. Just in case it's not clear, I don't personally care whether RC gives them out on that last morning or not nor am I advocating one way or the other. All I want to drink that morning are my daily cappuccinos from the DL machine. The issue to me us that there is just too much ambiguity between published wording and actual practice and I think it could easily be removed.
