  1. Great to hear! I hope they offer the Tutti salad when we board in June.
  2. One of the best changes Royal made was the vouchers! I would love it even more if they did the same on Celebrity.
  3. I’m curious how many would pay that! You have to drink ALOT, to even come close to that being better than just buying the drinks
  4. To those who are doing the World Cruise, or even a large segment, I’m wondering if the dinner menus are the same as always which would be very boring by now? I looked at some of the menus on this current leg and it appears they are! I would think they would mix it up. According to the answer to a question in Captains Corner an out crew meals, they answered that their menu rotation is I think at least 3 weeks or more before they repeat the same old, same old. So are you all bored?
  5. I forget, does Schooner on Oasis overlook the promenade? If so then it could be a possibility. We’ve been on 3 NYE cruises, but all on Radiance class ships, so the ones that paid for the “view” had small tables around the glass that overlooked the centrum. And tickets were bought on the ship. Actually on the Radiance ships it was kind of annoying because it was hard to walk around the tables and chairs they arranged for the ones that paid.
  6. One of the suite concierges from our last cruise lives there and said that most of the sugar we get imported to the US is from there. It looks beautiful!
  7. i had no idea that could be a thing….. so now that I’ve changed my Royal password..for possibly the 20th time, I should go see if the Celebrity one works that I created when we all had to do the update. Thanks!
  8. It’s good that you get 4 drinks each day, so if you drink a bit more it’s not so bad. now I’m not saying we ever did this before….but a person could bring in 2 bottles because the spouse doesn’t want to carry it….then the spouse also may bring a bottle in their carry on. 😇
  9. @ngrund I’m trying it the way you do… kind of…. I changed the password on Royal to get in, then when it asked me if I wanted to save to my keychain I said no. I have it in a note, so when I log in I will manually type my email and then copy the password from note Such a difficult way to log in, I won’t know if that works until I try again, but for now I mostly use the app. Thanks for the help.
  10. What browser do you use? I’m on Safari, but I also tried Chrome with same issue.
  11. I’m not sure I understand. I have an IPad, and when I get the red message that I need to update the password, I do that right then in Royals site, then it asks me if I want to save it I’m guessing there, and requires me to enter my login name. I do that and it lets me in. My iCloud saves the new password each time. But I also save it to my notes file just in case. but nothing matters what I do, I always need to create a new one. I’m tired of this.
  12. Since the issue when everyone had password issues, I still to need create a new password EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY TO LOG IN TO ROYAL!! Yes, every single time! It’s beyond annoying. I am computer savvy, so I know I’m using the correct password, but every single time I need to create a new one. I messaged Royal and they said they would send my issue to their “IT Team” to look into it. well their IT team isn’t great which we all know. So is anyone else STILL having this same issue? Or has anyone found out how to stop this very annoying problem? It appears a Royal doesn’t want me as a client anymore. but truly, this isn’t funny anymore.
  13. Same…..I never eat anything after supper at home.
  14. A week ago in one of the fitness classes that I attend, the instructor played that song! I hadn’t heard it in years! Everyone in the class sang the na, na na, na parts.
  15. Wow, you're brave. lol. We did 27 nights on Odyssey last year and the only things of mine that was in the bag was undies, socks, shorts, my pj shirt and exercise clothes. I brought nice shirts and skirts and two lightweight dresses all that can be washed in the sink and hung in the cabin to dry. I wouldn’t trust those things in the laundry on the ship. Glad you had good results.
  16. I’m way past my 40s and have been cruising Royal for 25 years, and unfortunately their new focus is definitely making us move and have already jumped to other lines. Royal IS ALREADY starting to lose their long time, frequent cruisers, those that may be retired so they have more time and money to cruise, as in not just a “weekend” a year which is what their current tv ads are focusing on. We’ve loved Royal, still do, but not the jam packed floating amusement parks. I guess I just miss what the focus of cruising originally was meant to be. A relaxing calming way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday frantic lives. And thankfully there ARE other cruise lines that are still that way. And that’s where we’re headed.
  17. So funny, we often end the night at Sorrentos too 🍕
  18. You use the word “we”, so not sure if your DW helps, but in my case I do it all and it’s a lot of planning and making decisions, not on the local cruises from Florida, but the majority of our trips are international which requires more planning. So although it would be preferable for me if we both were involved, my TA has been a godsend! Which mostly leaves me to plan the excursions and in the new places we travel.
  19. Sounds fabulous! We never thought of Cunard! We do have the Silver Nova booked next year to Alaska for 14 nights, so we’re excited about that. I’m curious, do you do all your own booking?
  20. IMO house bands are less expensive because they have a long contract, compared to Tribute bands that are more like other entertainers, coming and going. Maybe I’m incorrect but that’s my take on it.
  21. i get what you’re saying, but in our case cruising out of a Florida to us is mostly about just enjoying the ocean. Yes, we get off for an hour or two at CC, but only to put my toes in the sand. So we have some Florida cruises still booked, but they’re on large ships which will be full of younger people, who I’m hoping get off at the ports so we have a quieter ship. We prefer cruises to interesting / new places which is usually in Europe, then it’s not just about only the ocean
  22. That’s where we get on, do you know what changes they’ll have then?
  23. Early dining says it starts at 5:30, but in our experience there’s been a sign out front of the dining room asking everyone to come at 5pm. Reason has been, again in our experience, that if they didn’t show up by 5:30, the table has been given to a MTD guest. Last couple of cruises this has been the case in our experience. But as others have said here, go to the podium in the MDR as soon as you board to see if they can modify your reservation. Enjoy your cruise!
