I’m reading that this time people may listen and evacuate, which is a good thing, as some of the hotels further east of the coast are already booked, including some Disney hotels (don’t know if that 100% accurate). Our daughter who lives north of Tampa asked if she and the kids can come to us and have hubby hold down the fort there…I said she better wait and see, it’s too early to tell. Irma was forecast to hit Tampa bad but it turned in and came over us in the middle of the night. We’re set, generator, gas, snacks, booze and water.

Someone I know, whose father travels a lot for both business annd pleasure always used Medjet. Thats only for medical evacuation I think and he has used them for years.

Same, except I would say WHEN I wake up at 5….or sometimes 4 . I guess that’s why I sometimes get replies from you so early 😳

Weve used Allianz for years, we get the annual policy and adjust it based on how many expensive cruises we have that year.

You must be on Southwest, Ive never seen so many wheelchairs on any other airline. That may change when we get to pick our seats when we purchase. It got so bad once with well over 20 wheelchairs in line that they asked if anyone can walk on please do, and they all got up and walked on. I’ll add that while they were waiting some werent even sitting in the wheelchairs, they were up and around getting snacks and drinks.

I usually get wifi package, but DH doesn't and yet I can send him a text and he gets it on his iPhone and the only wifi he has is the free one for Royal. I have no idea how but I’m not letting them know.

I do those but in Reality, I’m now considered an “Elite Plus” with Celebrity, so now I just do it for fun.

Post 9/11 and CV they were begging us to cruise (which we did) and like you said, almost giving them away. But I don’t want any sale for either of those reasons…☹️

Only thing about that is that was in 2019…..I think possibly royal was more generous back then when Fain was still in charge.

We don’t like Indian food at all, and in order to say that we’ve tried it and tried it and tried it again …. But we just don’t like it. And I agree that the reason Royal always has so much of it is because it’s cheap. It’s just my opinion.

Like @Biker19 said, it’s probably different on every ship. For example, last year on the Odyssey TA, they had a few different activities earlier, then a parade I think at 9pm to vote on the best costume. It was so much fun! And to think that everyone had to fly to Rome with all their costumes made it even better. You wouldn’t believe some of the things they wore! I don’t remember any kids in the parade. but years earlier we cruised I think on an Oasis class ship and the parade was earlier and lots of kids!

Maybe ours did too, But I knew from others that posted that it was European, which some cpaps may have issues with. I wonder why they didn’t have 1 of each type.

Our cabin on deck 9 on serenade had only 1 European and 2 USB outlets next to the bed. Not good for two CPAPs or any if they don’t have a European cord. My DH bought one to bring for our time on the ship.

Same for us! 90 degree fold down beds….outside cabin for us too. I had the bed (if you can actually call it that) under the window. He never fell out of his bed. I imagine that’s whyThe Love Boat never showed the actual rooms, LOL. And same here…..still cruising more than ever! Great memories for us both!!

Funny, on our cruise there was also some storm coming near Bermuda and we had to leave a bit early and I remember the ship was rocking so much that night I fell out of bed twice!! And our beds (single beds each) were FOLDED DOWN from the wall, they weren’t able to be connected. I had to wedge my leg in to the wall side to keep from falling out after the second time! The cabin didn’t look anything like what they had on the TV show. 😆. But still my favorite cruise ever!!

We had 680 on our cruise. We got to know so many of the passengers, it definitely was like one big family! Hmmm, maybe the memories of that fabulous cruise are why I don’t like the behemoth ships that Royal has. We like small ships.

Do you remember when you cruised? We did the one that was in Bermuda on the 4th of July and they had American Flags on the pier when we got off the ship. It was so cool!

I remember watching the Love Boat and I think that’s what got me interested in cruising. And Princess brought the Pacific Princess to NY for its last season in before being sold in 2002 with 7 night cruises to Bermuda. The ship was so small it was able to get into all the ports! Less than 700 onboard, it was the best cruise we’ve ever been on….and we’ve been on a lot! The ship looked exactly like what they showed on TV. Loved that cruise!
