  1. I’m my case I go there for my morning coffee because I can mix and match what I want without talking to anyone. 😉
  2. I don’t recall that type of coffee machine, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for any way to increase the strength. Our new Keurig we have at home has strength choices. Thanks.
  3. Are you referring to personal home machines or the ones in the D Lounge?
  4. The wording was confusing and I don’t want to screw up
  5. I saw that too. So do we need one to enter Denmark and then another to board the ship? Because we are flying in a few days ahead. Now I’m very confused.
  6. In our case we knew we needed boosters for Europe and had them, but when we did the Checkin we could only put the original vax card and couldn’t show the back that had the boosters. When we boarded we showed them the back and thought all was well. it wasn’t. The day before we got off the ship our card was locked to any further charges and it was because at the start of the cruise the agent never recorded our booster. Thankfully guest services straightened it out. I think now you’re able to upload more than 1 photo so you can show boosters.
  7. A booster was needed on the TA to Rome if your last shot was more than 270 days
  8. If cruising is shut down, then so should air travel, train travel, sporting events, etc. This is a virus, and viruses don’t “go away”. This will be here in some variant forever. We can’t stay trapped forever. It is becoming manageable although not pleasant at all for most people. Yes, some get it worse, just like any other virus. But we can’t stop living forever.
  9. This virus has thankfully morphed from a deadly pandemic, to an endemic, which can and will make some very sick and possibly succumb to it. But for most who get it (and I know plenty who have had it), it’s mostly like a cold. So logic says at this point, if we’re being tested for Covid, then we should also be tested for all the other viruses that are around at a given time and could make some very sick and possibly die, like flu, strep, norovirus, bronchitis, pneumonia, monkey pox….etc. Rightfully so, some of us were so full of fear that they can’t see beyond that fear to where we are now, and let go.
  10. Mr. Bayley mentioned in a call with the CDC two weeks ago, the CDC shared an amazing statistic, "the cruise industry sailing out of the US ports over the past 12 months and how many people have been hospitalized with Covid and how many deaths occurred from Covid from people who'd sailed on the industry's ships, which is in the millions. "And the number of people who died from COVID who'd sailed on ships over the past year was two." "Two is terrible. But but but against the context of everything we've seen, that's it's truly been a remarkable success." In 2020 and even 2021 I agreed with masking and testing. But I’m over it now. We are responsible for our own health in everything we do. If you feel apprehensive then wear a mask everywhere you go or choose not to cruise, or attend a concert, or fly or take a bus…. I could go on. Cruise lines shouldn’t be the ones responsible for your health. if you all are truly frightened, then don’t cruise for awhile and see how it works out. And hope you don’t get sick from a relative, or your grandkids, or your best friend or in church or getting your haircut… I could go on.
  11. Where did you see that this for all cruises out of Europe? I thought only NCL. Can you post a link?
  12. I submit right after I book. I have cruises well into 2023.
  13. Only the date matters. We took a test in our hotel room in Italy the day before we flew home to Florida in May with a 6 hour time difference
  14. We had 10 sea days on our Odyssey TA to Rome….was supposed to be 9 but due to a medical emergency drop off in San Juan, we had to miss Portugal ☹️…. I loved the sea days! hubby didn’t think he could do it, but we booked another so 🤷🏼‍♀️
  15. This is 100% accurate. When we were on our last cruise in April, I booked a cruise with Next Cruise and the invoice looked like the first example. When I transferred it to a TA, it looks like the second example.
  16. I failed to mention that not only did we turn up the volume and turn on CC, we put chairs right in front of the TV to sit so we got the full effect. I would have loved to see that performance live on Broadway.
  17. It never would have crossed my mind that would be a reason to not like something. I keep my head buried in beach sand sometimes.
  18. It’s cool that we all have different - but just as good - tastes and views. I liked Mamma Mia for memories it rekindled, not necessarily the plot. In the beginning of Hamilton both of us couldn’t understand what they were singing. We turned up the volume and ended up putting on subtitles. I do understand the history but I was more blown away by the talent….they are all extremely talented. But the king just cracked me up. After the first 10 minutes Hamilton we were hooked. I’ve seen it a few times now. edited to add that I would LOVE to see that on a ship!!
  19. I realize this post was in jest, but since I’m here commenting I’ll throw my two cents that I think the best show I’ve seen so far on any Royal ship is The Book on Odyssey. Everything about it was fantastic. But I also love Mamma Mia.
  20. I agree that the Aqua and ice shows are better on Oasis.
  21. i agree the first 10 minutes or so of Hamilton, we were like what the heck is this, but stuck it out because I loved the talent and the guy who played the King was the absolute best part of the whole show. He was hysterical. funny that I didn’t even follow the storyline…. Just watched them sing. Everyone has different tastes and that’s what makes it interesting.
  22. I have to agree, I think it’s the worst show on any royal ship. I tried to watch twice but couldn’t make it until the half time break. I feel bad for the performers. And actually, I stopped booking on Oasis for that reason, I can cruise on Allure and have a great show!
  23. This post was a bit mean… and I’m sorry to admit I laughed out loud. And as I read it again while I’m typing this, I laughed again.
